Breakfast time with Summer

That was certainly something that warranted some action, but you weren't sure what you could do to help Isabella in this case. You could speak the story as is, that she wasn't drinking herself, but what would that do? You supposed that it's a good sign that she wasn't presently in police custody, the officers were likely feeling a little lenient. Isabella had neglected to tell you who exactly under the age of 21 was drinking ****, so you couldn't tell who was missing.

It was times like this that the Affection Multiplier, of course, went silent. There was nothing to really help you here. No law-bypassing powers or traits that you could give to Isabella. Sweet-talking the cops wouldn't work either, because it seemed like people didn't hypnotically come under your control, they just liked you a lot more. Plus, you couldn't possibly get the entire police department to have scores of 150 with you anyways.

Whatever, you had to get this off of your mind, so you entered the dining hall and started talking with Summer about the game last night. You ask her what she did after the game, and she tells you about how she went out to the park until about 11:00. You tell her that you went to a party, and she raises an eyebrow at that.

"You didn't really seem like the partying type to me", she said, while stabbing some eggs with her fork.

"I didn't think I was the partying type either", you said, chuckling a bit. "And I still don't think I am. I was invited though, and I just decided to try it out".

"I heard there was some sort of bust at a party last night", she responded lightly. "That wasn't...with you, right?"

"Well, yes and no", you explained. "That was the same party that I was at, but Amy and I left before the big bust happened".

"Ah, so you went with Amy," she said with a slight tilt of her head as she picked up a piece of bacon. "Did she drag you there?"

"No one dragged me there, Summer. I went there of my own volition. And with a little convincing from Isabella, I guess."

"Ah, so it was Isabella's party that got busted. She's gonna be in some hot water with admin about that."

"I'd say. Not much to be done about it though. I guess it's a good thing that she's not in police custody right now though."

"How do you know?"

"I exercised with her this morning, like I do every morning."

"You trying to get in shape to impress someone?"

"Not necessarily, I'm just trying to get in better shape so marching band practice doesn't kill me every weekday. But I won't complain if it gets me a few girls either".

She rolled her eyes at that, and you could practically see her saying "You're all the same" with that eye roll.

"So, what are your plans today?" you asked, trying to change the subject.

"Probably just going to catch up on my work. These music education majors are no joke", she replied with a heavy sigh.

"I've heard that, which is why I decided to not go for that", you said knowingly.

"Yeah, okay. At least I know where my life is going and I'm not still just taking gen ed courses."

"I'm just trying to keep my options open, don't fault me for that!"

"Whatever you say, Cody."

All in all, you and Summer had a good breakfast, like most days. This did give you new insight on the situation with Isabella though. It seemed to be spreading around the campus like wildfire. Hopefully it didn't get out of hand like wildfire tends to.
