Branch Update [Break's Over]

[January 21, 2022] Break's Over

I'm starting to write again! Hopefully, I'll have enough written that I can have an upload schedule by February. Make sure to bookmark the previous chapter: Insecurities of Innocence to get updated when the latest chapter comes out.

More importantly (at least for me XD), I'm fully recovered from COVID! I still can't leave isolation since I still have to finish quarantine, but I am feeling back to normal again, and my latest test has resulted negative for COVID.

[January 11, 2022] Got COVID

Apparently the fever and coughs I experienced while writing the last chapter for the 'Twelve Days of Christmas Special' were due to COVID and I just confirmed it yesterday. Will be in isolation for an additional two weeks, and I've already been in isolation for a week now. The meds are keeping me groggy and lethargic most of the time so I can't even fix the outline during this break XD. Still, I'm hoping I can be back by February. Fingers crossed.

[January 7, 2022] Continuing my break

The Twelve Days of Christmas Special is finally finished! As such, I'm going to continue my break once more. There really isn't much more to say other than that. See you all once again once I continue the main story line!

[December 24, 2021] Taking a Break from my Break

Merry Christmas!

I started writing again last December 20! It's for the Christmas Special that suddenly met its donation goal! Thank you Valent for such a generous donation on my Ko-Fi! Please bookmark the first chapter of this branch of the AMA as I will upload the first Chapter of the Christmas Special after that chapter [Edit: It's here!]. I'm planning to do a 12 Days of Christmas Celebration, so there should be 12 chapters published from tomorrow, Christmas Day, up to January 5. That being said, if I don't meet that deadline, I hope to still finish it before continuing my break.

[December 18, 2021] Taking a Break

Hey again everyone!

To the ones who are already familiar with this page, you know what's coming. To the ones who are new here, I'm announcing that I'm taking another two week break from writing. Maybe more than two weeks this time, but I'll see how hungry I am to write again after two weeks and go from there.

I'm celebrating half a year of writing by the end of this month, and I just wanted to start off by saying thank you for all the support you guys have shown me over those six months. It has been a blast to write this story, and your continued feedback and support have been extremely motivating.

A special shoutout has to go to my donors who helped subsidize a gift I bought for my family this Christmas. To Akhara, Valent, and my anonymous donor, a huge thank you for showing your support in that way, and I can't thank you enough for doing so.

To the readers I see in the comments section, the ones who like and bookmark, and to the anonymous viewers I have, I'd like to thank all of you, as well, for the continued support. I can only hope to continue writing something you guys enjoy. To the OGs that have been here since the beginning and are probably used to me dropping five plus chapters in a day, I have to apologize in advance and say I don't think I can get back to that pace anytime soon anymore, as I've considerably slowed down due to the amount of balls I'm juggling in the story now. I expect to probably release a chapter every other day when I get back to writing, as that's the current pace I'm on this December. I hope you guys understand.

The past few months have been wild in terms of feedback, as I noticed more people discovering this branch of the story. I recently broke the 10,000 like milestone, and now have 20+ chapters that are 100+ likes. I know they're just numbers, but I honestly do find it satisfying and validating.

Speaking of feedback, I recently submitted my branch to Marcie and Gina read CHYOA. If you're interested, you can check out their review in the link. They touched on some of the feedback you guys have given me as well, and their review is mostly positive. I hope you guys can show them some support too. I plan on dabbling in that comedic critique space too just for fun.

I'd also like to formally announce something I started working on the side while I was overly productive back in October: The Ranking. It's only a few chapters and very much still in the beginning stages, but I'd love to hear what you guys think about it if you have the time.

Unlike last time, I can't give an update on what's to come after this break as I had to change and rearrange some stuff in my outline since my last break. Since it's in flux, I'd love to hear what you guys would like to see as I progress in the story. I still remember some of the trait suggestions in the past, like one for Jay's athleticism and him buying more quality of life perks. Once I'm done with all this drama with Viv and Maddy, I'd like to pursue those eventually.

As always, I'd love to hear your feedback over the chapters since my last break, Chapters 97-142. What were your favorites? What were some of your least favorite decisions I chose? What's your waifu tier list? To expand on that, what's your character tier list in general? I'd love to hear your thoughts about that in the comments, or you can DM me if you wish to do it privately.

If you're curious about mine, I'm going with: Brooke, Stella, Tanya, Cassie, Viv, Becca, Maddy - in that order. It'll definitely change once I start writing sex scenes for the lower half, but I really do like Brooke since she's been the easiest to write as a character.

Last but not least, Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays to all of you guys! It's been an incredible year just based on my progress as an amateur writer, and I have only you guys to thank for that.
