Chapter 17 by latexdoll latexdoll

Where do you go?

Back to the shop.

As you make your way across town in the dark of night, you hide from anything and everything. Soon it becomes apparent that the safest path is by the rooftops, and you are able to finally get a slight bit of rest in the center of a flat high sided roof. Sitting there naked and free you take stock of what you have left. Finally looking down you see that the holster belts you fought so badly to retrieve do not hold the guns that they were meant for. “Awe shit. You have got to be kidding.” Sadly the wide strong belts that hold your guns and ammo are just fine, but the holsters are empty. As it stands it takes little time to figure out what you have left. A pair of holsters, powder horn, 38 normal bullets, and the 20 magic ones you bought earlier. “Well fuck. I am kinda hungry too.” You say to the night as your cute little tummy lets out a little gurgling growl. Running your options you also realize that you are also missing the message that you were paid to deliver as well. “I guess that is a start.” You say to the night, feeling that you have to keep your word. Pulling on the holster belts, as there isn't really an easier way to carry them, you rise once again and head out to go back to the shop where you did business earlier to get a copy of the message.

It takes a while to get to the store, but you are sure you aren't spotted, and you manage to grab an off white sheet that you wrap yourself with much like someone would do with a towel after a bath, making a very simple short dress of sorts. Finally you arrive at the shop and are a bit surprised to see it is still open despite the late hour. Walking in you see the same man from before. “Hello. Remember me?”

“I thought you would be far from here by now?”

“Well I should be, but sadly I lost your message. You will have to pen it again.”

“Oh no, that is bad, really bad. You see it isn't as simple as that. The message was only part of it. Within the scroll was an item that is quite unique. That was what you were really delivering.” He paces around the room. Finally he looks at you, “If you are willing. I can give you something that can find the letter. If not, I suppose I will have to risk doing it myself.”

“I'll do it, but how?”

“Good good, thank you. One second.” He goes back into the back room for a few moments before returning with a scroll. This is a spell that reveals the location of whatever you seek. Do you know how to cast magic?”

“Me? No, can anyone use magic?”

“No of course not. You have to study for years, and be born with magic to even have a place to start. It would just have made it a bit easier. However all of the magic for this is in the scroll. If read perfectly it can be cast by anyone, many people in your profession train in the ability to activate magic just like this. I was hoping with all of the magic items you had, that you had some skill in this as well.”

Thinking over all of the strange things that have happened since your arrival you realize you might actually know something you just don't know that you know. “Well let me take a look.” As you take the scroll from him and look it over, sure enough the words seem to flow in front of you and before long you realize you can in fact make out what it says. “I didn't realize you had a scroll, of course I can activate a scroll.” You say, sort of lying, yet apparently a bit true as well.

“Good, then this might work. Here take it. Get as close as you can before activating the magic, for once you do the effect will only last an hour.

“Umm, there is one other thing.” You add stammering a bit. “I seem to have lost all of my weapons as well, I don't suppose you could give, or sell me anything?”

“Do you have any money? Anything to trade?”

“Just my services and, well these bullets. I bought the magic ones from you.”

“Well a hundred gold if I remember. Lets see, you don't have anything?” He rummages around and looks over a few ledgers. “I actually have a pistol, it isn't magic, but I suppose for everything you have done I could sell it to you for the bullets. Plus I have a rather nice but simple long dagger I suppose I could throw in. It isn't magic either, but it is well made, and silver, in case you need to fight something nasty.”

“Given the situation. I'll take it.” You drop the sheet to get out the ammo and he looks you over, eyes lingering long enough that you are pretty sure you might be able to get him to give you something in exchange for sex as well if you want.

Make the offer?
