As you distractedly press the notification, new ones replace it.

User must undergo mutation process immediately
Detecting suitable allies for the process
The mutation will now begin

The blinding light that accompanied the systems notification is the last thing you remember before awakening on the floor of the ruins that you’ve made your home now.

Observing your hands, you don’t seem to notice apparent changes and in doing so, your eyes fall on the figure that starts moving close by. After the initial surprise, you recognise her and, as she moves, you notice the slight changes in her features. The long platinum hair is now pure white and the already elegant elven features that mare her an absolute beauty seem to have only been enhanced. Her face is now somewhat similar to that of a human. Even if the comparison does not make her justice, the ears have become shorter but keep some of the old charm and her lips have now reached an additional level of inviting. The thing that holds your gaze hostage is the new eyes that look back at you however, the glacial blue having been replaced by pure silver with tinges of blue, almost as if looking at a crucible filled with molten Mithril, such is the intensity that you perceive.

As both of you raise to your feet, you notice your heights are now much more close, seeing as she now reaches just past your chin, even after moving. However, you still lock eyes, enthralled by each other.

Seems like you have once more stated long enough to prompt the apparition of her information breaking the starring contest you had.

Explorer: You are familiar with the natural environment surrounding the domain of your liege and are adept at traveling and surviving in this region.
While traveling outside your lieges domain, you gain the following benefits:
Difficult terrain doesn’t slow your group’s travel.
Your group can’t become lost except by magical means.
Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling (such as foraging, navigating, or tracking), you remain alert to danger.
• If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
• When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
• While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.
Stalker: The shadows welcome you as one of their own, while many fear the dark, you have embraced it as part of you. While most approach the shadows with trepidation, you seek them to hide your approach from unknowing foes. The fools who stand against you will fear any shadow, for it may hide your next strike.
Eyes of the hunter: Your eyes are one of your greatest assets. They can more easily see through darkness and obstructions and will also help you see through most magic, be it illusions or charms.
Fallen: Your full glory is no more, but the mortals don’t seem to have taken notice. Evil creatures fear you, for the scariest thing is a good man who has been angered, while the ones you once may have called allies are now those who pity your fate. Any attempts to use Appearance positively will have extraordinary results. Most daemons will fear your very presence, while many of the celestial legions will sympathise with your situation. The fey are more likely to help the rebel they see in you, and the mortal races will be filled with awe. (Individual interaction will greatly be affected by each individual’s own morality scores)
Neutral: You are not aligned to good or evil, but this does not mean both will accept you. Your lieges alignment will greatly influence the views of others and with time, your own alignment may shift in one direction.
Guardian: Your liege had deemed you worthy of this title. As such, you are given part of his authority over the domain that he controls. Your rank is second only to your liege, and you may make decisions that do not contradict your lieges will regarding both his domain and his followers. Other beings who see your liege as their master will put your orders on the same level and will move on your commands. As a Guardian, your primary role is to be the last bastion before your liege. For this purpose, you are invested with powers that mimic those of the heroes.
• Guardian Ranger: Unlocks the Ranger skill and magic three for your growth
Something Special: There is something inside of you that should not be. Its presence will beneficially affect your future growth. It cannot be seen, it cannot be taken, it cannot be lost, so I suggest you have fun with it.
Spells
Shadow strike: While this spell is in effect, you become one with the shadows. You can freely move without causing your target to alarm and your first strike will channel the shadows to deal more damage.
Hunter’s Mark: A creature that you can see is mystically marked as your target. While the mark persist your strikes will find the target more easily and will carry more damage. If the target tries to run from the battle, the mark will help you hunt him, granting you a boon to all tracking related skills while searching for the target. If the creature that you have marked is killed before the spell duration is over, you can cast the spell once more without expending further power.
Fog cloud: Surrounds yourself or a target in a thick layer of fog that extends in all directions and around all corners, heavily obscuring the area.
Absorb Elements: The spell captures part of the incoming energy, weakening the attack against you and storing part of it for your next attack. You gain momentary resistance to the triggering damage type and the first attack you make will deal extra damage of the same triggering type.

As you look at the now filled status screen of your companion, the realisation that your aim is finally accomplished takes aback you. You both are free of anyone out there. The woman in front of you, however, interrupted your thoughts when she pulls your arm.

“You there Paladin?” She interrupts herself before putting a mischievous grin on her lovely lips. “Excuse my rudeness, my liege, Lord Raziel,” a chuckle that you immediately mimic and a mocking bow before her eyes are once more on yours.

“No offence taken my Guardian” you play along as your foreheads touch before quietly continuing “We should swap now, I want to see the new boons of being a monster” as your words come out the not yet dismissed status screens move to swap positions in front of your amazed gazes, and you are presented with your new self.

Aberrant Savant: Reduce the time you need to spend studying the magic belonging to any school of magic
• Occult Focus: (Aberrant) Adds +5 effective to Occult when casting Any spells
• Lore Focus: (Aberrant) Adds +5 effective to Lore when studying spells, effects, external creatures, and the like.
Oath of Truth: Words carry weight. Yours far moreso than others. You can not speak a word that you know is false. For you, speaking and acting are the same. Your words carry sometimes more importance than a contract and as a reward, any who speaks a promise in front of you will be punished if the promise is not kept. In addition, people that do not see you as an enemy are easier to convince of your words. You gain a bonus to Charisma and Presence equal to Fame/50.
Dragonmark: (Aberrant) Unique mark granted to the few who have been recognised by The Dark Lady of Imporne Shendranith. You are among a select few, and this mark proves it. In the ages of old before her final retreat to the heart of Imporne, Shendranith has meet 13 great beings that she has predicted will have a role in shaping the land of Arkus and has granted them the symbol of such recognition in the form of a Mark carved in their very souls by her flames and in their bodies by her own blood. As the bearer of the Aberrant Mark, your magic is enhanced in both offence and defence, and the requirements to learn new magic are reduced.
Fallen: If you fall, you damn well better fall hard. Your ancient battle against the wicked Pantheon has shaken heaven and hell alike. The brothers and sisters that you defended still hold your sacrifice in great regard, and the daemons that have seen you wage war against the usurpers have spread the word of your might. You continuously exude an aura that leaves most external in awe. The memory of your sacrifice inspires respect and fear in daemons and angels alike. When using Appearance or Presence on Angels and daemons, you will receive a boon based on their alignment and relation to you. (Individual interaction will greatly be affected by each individual’s own morality scores)
Good: You care about others but do not care about following society’s rules, you care about doing what’s right. You speak up and help those who are in need, but you do it because you want to, not because you have to. You are prone to rebel and break the rules to do what’s right and even try to bring about a meaningful change to the world.
Pseudo-Boss: When you are defeated in battle, lose accumulated experience to your next level rather than all gained experience. Spend Fame on unique bonuses to your domain, your followers, and yourself.
Invite: You can invite other creatures to take up residence in your domain as followers. Doing so successfully grants you experience, and you will gain a small amount of all the experience your followers gain. Having sleeping quarters, food, and water already available will increase your chances of a successful invite.
Boss Class (Templar): As you are being recognised as the rightful Boss of this domain, you unlock the right to access the special classes of your race. Your Angelic lineage unlocks the Templar Knight class, a path that only the most incorruptible may follow and that rivals with the Paladin class held by heroes.
Something Special: There is something inside of you that should not be. Its presence will beneficially affect your future growth. It cannot be seen, it cannot be taken, it cannot be lost, but will be granted to those you deem worthy of your trust. I suggest you have fun with it.
Spells
Ceremony: You can perform a special ceremony that is infused with your divine authority.
Protection from Evil and Good: One willing creature you touch is protected against certain types of creature: celestials, elementals, fey, fiend and undead.
Sanctuary: You ward a willing creature in your vicinity against attacks.
Shield of Fait: A shimmering radiance appears and surrounds a creature of your choice within range.
Protection from Poison: You touch a creature. If it is poisoned, you neutralise the poison. If not, you grant them protection against being poisoned and poison damage for the duration.
Compelled Duel: you attempt to compel your enemy into a duel. Yours and your opponent’s Wits and Presence scores will be the determining factor of success for the spell. If you succeed, the opponent is drawn to you, compelled by your divine demand. The enemy will receive slight debuts if it attempts to attack someone that is not you or tries to move more than a certain distance from you. The magic is dispelled if you attack another foe or if a friendly creature attacks the target.
Searing Smite: As your next attack hits a creature, your weapon flares with white-hot intensity, causing your target to ignite in flames and take damage continuously.
Wrathful Smite: As your next attack hits a creature, your rage seeps into your blade. Yours and your opponent’s Wits and Presence scores will be the determining factor of success for the effect. If you succeed, your enemy’s heart will be filled with fright for as long as you are in the vicinity.

After what feels like an eternity you both return to reality and are clearly exited about the significant changes of your worlds, but as if remembering something long forgotten the both of you shift a few steps from each other and arch your backs commanding the appearance of your very own set of wings. As you expected from the information in her status, her wings seem to keep a certain theme and are almost fully black if not for the very tips of the feathers they come in the same enticing silverish blue tinge of her eyes. You take a while to see the look of awe on her face, but when you do, you immediately flex your new appendages, repositioning them to enter your field of vision. What you are presented with is a large pair of black feathered wings that are topped by a yellow leathery structure that resembles the wings of bats more than those of birds. But then it hits you, not bats, feeling with your hand you understand that those are not the wings of an Angel, not entirely, the dragonmark seems to have granted you some characteristics of the race that rules over all skies and you attempt to extend them as if the realisation has changed the feel you fad in the beginning. It still feels damn good, you note to yourself as you chuckle and attempt to lift yourself from the ground.

“Wanna stay down here while I take these beauties for a test ride?” You jokingly ask Alyanne, extending a hand towards her as she matches your smile and tentatively lifts herself, reaching your height.

It takes a long while before you are finally back on the ground, the experience fresh in mind still making you wish you could continue soaring despite the protest of the new and already overused appendages.

During the flight you didn’t dare to go too far but still reached the nearby lake and in the process you both had the occasion to see the changes that the mutation had brought. Alyanne was far more surprised than you when she noticed the absence of her normally peeking ears and the slight shifting of her facial features, for what you could tell however not much was different on your body, the eyes now golden that reflected your now more neatly cut almost golden hair, and the skin a few shades darker where the only thing besides your wing shat you had noticed since your physique appeared unchanged.

Now that the excitement was washed away by the slight tiredness you once more sited in your “domain” close to one of the newly formed Water Springs and looking once more at your finally changes status.

“So… My Liege” says the woman whose head rests on your shoulder before you interrupt her.

“Please… I have a name now” you don’t know why you want to say it, it’s clear that she just wants to joke at your expenses as always. But you still say it “Can you use it?” Your tone seemed almost pleading and you wander still what’s happening to you as she speaks again.

“Alright, alright. Raziel” the gentle sound of her voice simply fills something in the deepest part of you but her next words instantly distracted you “Do you want to redecorate before bed?”

House flipping time?
