Aphrodite v Loki

{if Court round == 1}
You see a tall woman walk in, her bright red toga having rose petals fall off of it onto the ground behind her. "APHRODITE, please keep your glamour effects under control lest I do so for you!" "But Persephone gets her petals!" "And that is not a glamour effect, and you know it perfectly well. I will have order in my court." "Loki gets a privacy screen, why can't I have petals?" "Because, my dear," female Loki steps out behind the screen, "your petals don't serve to protect privacy, they serve to distract everyone." "I am a titan, I should get some modicum of privilege here." "Titan you may be, but you are still not my elder, and you surely aren't Lachie's elder." The judge rubs the bridge of her nose, clearly displeased with this turn of events. "Lady Loki, if you would, please avoid giving me nicknames." She smiles slightly, "oh, but of course, I do apologize for the untoward behavior." She collapses the privacy screen, revealing an apple resting on the chair.

Aphrodite proceeds to her seat, the judge aptly distracted by the chaos; Loki returns to her seat, picking up the apple and tossing it in the air followed by catching it. Gathering her wits, the judge finally continues. "Today's case is on the matter of who this cleric next to me is truly dedicated to, as evidence has been brought forth by the prosecution as to question their loyalties to the defense. The prosecution will be the petulant Aphrodite and the defense will be the irksome Loki." Loki simply giggles at this, whereas Aphrodite looks thoroughly annoyed.

"Per agreements dating back millennia between the two here today, this trial will occur over the course of five rounds. The first will be on the matter of integrity, the second on the matter of harm, the third on the matter of minorities, the forth on the matter of passion, and the fifth on the matter of war." The judge takes a moment to gather her sanity before losing it once more when she looks to Aphrodite. "OH FOR THE LOVE OF NYX. Aphrodite, turn off your glamour effect below I turn it off for you." "HA! I doubt you could." The judge simply snaps her fingers, and the rose petals that have been falling gather themselves up and shove themselves in Aphrodite's mouth, effectively gagging her. "Now that was satisfying." She snaps her fingers again, and the petals disappear entirely. "Do not make the mistake of questioning my power in this realm again, cousin." She gathers herself once more for a bit, then proceeds. "Let the trial begin."

Aphrodite, now sightly humiliated at the sudden display of loss of control, stands and moves towards you. "Cecillia, there is an old saying from somewhere which states 'to thine own self be true.' I, being the titan of Passion, find this particularly important to me. Loki on the other hand, though she is very good at expressing her inner self as it changes, prefers to sit in duplicity, even if that means that she has to deny who she is to herself. Which side would you say you favor?"
{elseif Court round == 2}
Aphrodite returns to her seat. "That concludes round one." At this, Loki stands up and strides over to you. "Well, little one, seems you've triggered something beyond your understanding. Not to worry, just stick to your mores and we'll have you out from under her sexy thumb in no time. Suppose that one of our little jokes goes awry and gets someone hurt, that's not a big deal, is it? Is it truly bad to hurt others if we didn't mean to?"
{elseif Court round == 3}
Loki turns about and returns to her seat. "That concludes round two. Aphrodite, please take the floor for round three." Aphrodite stands up and moves over to you, saying "now Cecillia, I care about minorities as much as any other revolutionary, especially since they tend to have so much passion. However, tending to their every complaint isn't exactly my priority. Can you honestly say that you fully support the struggle of minor minorities? Or do you merely sympathize with them?"
{elseif Court round == 4}
{if Prosecution points == 0}Aphrodite sighs, "oh well, I tried." She then proceeds back to her seat.{else}Aphrodite about faces and sways her hips as she proceeds back to the prosecution's seat.{endif} "That concludes round three." Loki stands and makes her way towards you, "The game proceeds it would seem. Now do tell me, and keep in mind you're free to answer how you choose, how important truly is passion? Sure, it plays a role in what we seek to do, but surely it can't be all-important, can it? Tell me, do you really value passion above all else?" "Objection, leading the witness." Aphrodite blinks, realizing just how clever Loki's subtle ploy was. "Sustained. Loki, please change your tone to be less leading." "Oh, but of course, I do apologize. Aphrodite values passion above all else, do you share that value?"
{elseif Court round == 5}
Loki returns to her seat, {if Prosecution points > 3}clearly deep in thought{else if Defense points > 3}a confident sway in her hips{else}tossing her apple and catching it, repeating the process slowly and without regular rhythm as she returns{endif}. "That concludes round four. Aphrodite, you have the floor." Aphrodite stands and makes her way to you, "Cecillia, should a war break out and you support its cause, would you fight, or avoid the war, instead trying to advance your own individual goals?"
{elseif Court round == 6}
"And that concludes the case of Aphrodite v Loki in the matter of the cleric to my left." {if Prosecution points > 2} "I judge Aphrodite to have won this case. {if Prosecution points > 4}However, due to the cleric in question's total betrayal of Loki, they are ordered to forfeit all gifts Loki gave her on initial dedication. {elseif Prosecution points > 3}However, her new cleric is ordered to forfeit the spell Loki granted her on initial dedication. {else}However, due to her still partial loyalty to Loki, she may keep the spell Loki initially granted her, although she may reclaim the boons of ability she granted her on initial dedication.{endif}{else} "I judge Loki to have won this case. Aphrodite is ordered to surrender all current claim to her cleric.{endif} All parties may return at once." And with that, she returns to weaving. Both Loki and Aphrodite vanish from the court, although you feel that things have changed surrounding you.

Apologies, but these chapters only work well in game mode - too much chapter bloat if I separate it into the five rounds and aftermath.

However, below is a small teaser excerpt:
"Per agreements dating back millennia between the two here today, this trial will occur over the course of five rounds.
