Answer the door

Ava knew that getting dressed was absolutely priority one, but to not answer the door could inadvertently turn away a visitor. She sighed, as she walked towards the peephole of her front door, and peered inside.

Sofia, Ava's foreign neighbor, was standing outside the door in a dark blue T-Shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. "Ava? Are you there?"

Ava sighed, before cracking the door open slightly. "Hey, I'm almost ready. I just need to get dressed." Ava explained, hiding her upper body behind the door as she spoke.

Sofia seemed only slightly surprised, but quickly resumed her usual relaxed demeanor. "Ah. I can come in then? I normally show up a little early to invitations." Sofia asked, smiling brightly.

After a short pause, Ava raised an eyebrow. "I'm still not dressed. So I'll be back, and after I put some clothes I'll let you in."

Sofia shook her head dismissively. "Oh, I do not mind! We have both already seen each other nude. Not to mention, I would love to get a look around your apartment before any others arrive and make it more cramped."

There was a short pause, as Ava considered her options. Her upbringing taught her that turning away a guest was unacceptable. The words of her stern, but kind mother rang out in her mind. "All guests are welcome in this house. This is a second home for anyone who needs it." The voice of her mom explained. The attitude and constant welcome nature of her mother seemed to come out in herself at that moment, because Ava decided that the embarrassment and shame she would feel were outweighed by the sense of obligation and duty in her mind.

Reluctantly, Ava cracked the door open further, her face reddening. "I suppose... But only if you won't stare, and try not to look."

Sofia didn't bother answering, as she strolled through the doorway, past Ava. She continued past towards the small dining area and kitchen, and took a wide look around, and soaked in the view of the kitchen, on her left, and the living room/balcony on her right. Small bits of sunlight streamed in through the partly sheer curtains on the sliding glass door to the balcony.

"Wow... It is so..." Sofia said, trailing off as she tried to find the right word. "...Bare. It is naked! All you have is some basic furniture! No pictures, no candles, no blankets, no pillows..." Sofia exclaimed, turning back around. "Are you some kind of **** minimalist? It seems as if you have moved in with nothing to your name. Not even clothes."

Ava blushed, as she averted her gaze shyly and covered herself in embarrassment. "I didn't do this willingly. All my items were inside my moving truck I rented. At some point, the truck got stolen while it was on the way. So I had to go to the store and buy some temporary stuff to suffice until the truck gets located."

Sofia raised an eyebrow. "You are saying that you have nothing? Not even clothes? How embarrassing... I could not imagine traveling to the store nude. You are very brave."

"I didn't lose everything! I've been wearing the same outfit I wore on the ride here. You even walked in on me washing half of it. It's sitting on the balcony." Ava explained hastily.

After a short moment of silence, with Sofia trying to look as if she was innocently looking around the room, Ava abruptly coughed. "I should probably go get dressed. Be right back." Ava said, making her way towards the balcony. Sofia watched her quickly walk past, suppressing a laugh as she watched her ass jiggle slightly with each step.

Once on the balcony, Ava took a moment to admire the sun, which was headed towards a sunset as the evening approached 7. She snapped out of her admiration, when she noticed that she was standing stark naked on a balcony, and there were several balconies in the complex across the street that could likely see her. Ava turned to the clothes line, ready to feel clothes again.
