“You’ll just let me go? What do you need help with exactly?” you ask of the gnomes.

“Hugh, you’re up first,” the boss points at one of the gnomes behind you.

He runs off and comes back with a box. “What are these? They all appear to be of similar design. They have a mechanical aspect, but then some of the others are static with a cover of some kind.” You look into the box and see that it is filled with pens. “They don’t seem to be suited for stabbing.” He gestures to the side, and you can see a pile of shattered pens over by a tree.

“They’re pens. You use them to write stuff,” you tell the curious gnomes. You grab a pen from the box and look around for something to write on. One of the gnomes sees you searching and grabs a pile of paper from another nearby box.

“So it’s like a quill?”

“Yea, but the ink is inside,” you press the pen to the paper and write out your name, since you don’t know exactly what to write.

“Fascinating,” the gnome grabs a pen and scribbles across the page.

“And what about these?” the other gnome pulls a couple DVDs out of a box. “There are pictures on the outside but there are strange discs on the inside,” the gnome grabs a case, the box reads ‘Teen Gangbang XIV’ and he shows you the DVD inside.

You pause thinking everything over for a second.
