Harmony's phrasing had started Cordelia thinking. She briefly imagined the Cordettes reborn as Xander's harem. But she wasn't sure. Whether he'd approve or even if he'd be that into them. The back and forth they'd shared, that she now recognized as belligerent sexual tension had never been shared with any Cordette besides her.
Finally the day was over and she had returned home, with Anya in tow. She smiled looking around her room. Everything was in it's place, when prior to Xander's wishes she'd started packing things up for a move and to send them to a consignment shop, with the IRS issues a little further along than she'd been willing to admit to Xander.
"Okay, we need to be thinking wishes to help Xander and my relationship. I've got one. I wish I had Xander's exact taste in women."
"Oh, that's an excellent one. Now you're guaranteed maximum enjoyment of his side chicks. And I would like to volunteer for that if you're interested,"
Cordelia checked Anya out with new eyes. "I might be. But there's other things to think about first."
"Like what?"
"We need to boost him up, make him see what a great guy he is and help fix his life."
"Of course. But with the way he reacted to your changes he will be ****. Maybe if you can think of something you would like to change about him, that would show you're capable of having opinions that he might not agree with."
"I guess maybe I could wish him taller."
"Really? His height is something you have a problem with?"
"It's more like my height. Cause I realized I can't really wear a lot of my heels anymore without being way taller than him, and I can't like lean into him, wrap my arms around his neck and look up at him, which is always romantic. But I don't want to wish that now. We'll tell him about that one. Maybe we can do something about his family? Cause they're not great."
"Also excellent. What about the girl he said he lost his virginity to? You could wish she was appropriately appreciative of Xander."
"I don't think Xander would appreciate us messing with the heads of anyone he cares about even a little, without permission. But maybe we could get with her and find out why she acted that way and straighten her out."
