Abstinence

Last week they awkwardly discussed how to restrain from sexual activity. As you could expect it was a complete disaster. Mr. Smith tried to level with the group but he was out of his league and no longer remembered what it was like to have raging hormones while attending college over the age of consent. Ashley tried to explain that she gets the same urges and as impossible as is may seem, one could remain pure in the eyes of God. While the others loathed this speech, Nate regretted missing the session and saw it as a missed opportunity. He began putting a few thoughts in the leaders’ heads and with that they continued to speak.

“Last week we discussed abstinence and resisting the temptation of sexual immortality.” Started Mr. Smith. “As I am sure you all have been told, it is important that you resist these... ‘urges’ you all have. Now, I know that you have dealt with them for years but you are all getting older now and things will only get more difficult.”

“So this week we have decided to spice things up a bit.” Ashley interrupted. “You guys can’t seem to keep it in your pants, always drooling over girls. So you have to learn how to get it out of your systems.”

“Yes well, it is important that you try to resists these desires , but under dire circumstances you may feel the need to placate them instead.” Continued Mr. Smith. “Would any of you care to volunteer as an example?” He seemed uncomfortable asking the question, understandably so considering how Nate was putting words in his mouth. Ashley didn’t seem quite so disturbed with the new plan.

Nate raised his hand slightly, then a bit higher until they took notice of him. Mr. Smith signaled for him to stand up and accidentally whispered to him loud enough that some of the others could hear, thanking him profusely and giving vague directions.

“Well, um Nate, if this isn’t too uncomfortable for you we would like you to show the proper procedure for ‘masturbation’ at your age.” The rest of the youths perked up at this and made eye contact with each other. “You can remain as clothed as you want, but we would like the others to get a good visual.” The rest of the youths continued to look at each other as Nate began to full undress. In a few moments he was standing naked in front of his bible study group.
