“Such a wonderful person,” a voice behind Sue said in a mocking tone the very next second. “Why don’t you fuck you and Desire until both of you are blissful for eternity?”

Sue turned around and looked in the grim face of a young black-haired lady with short black pants and a black top. She leaned against the mist and looked at Sue almost disgusted. She was pretty, even though she made a face like she ate something rotten.

“So who are you?” Sue asked, knowing that she wouldn't get a direct answer.

“Why don’t you tell me, bitch?” the woman said arrogantly. “You know everything better, right?”

“Why this hate against me?” Sue asked, very unimpressed by the words of the woman crossing her arms. She almost expected the next sexual attack like Lust did before and prepared.

“Stupid question,” the woman snapped. “You are so…utterly not me, I can’t do anything against you!” The woman sighed and made a face like she was regretting to come here at all.

“I thought you were my emotions?” Sue replied this strange answer and looked to the woman with a frown. “So how can you not be me?”

“I don’t answer women who are strolling around in the world and get anything they want,” hissed the other woman and crossed her arms. “Especially because I am gone forever anyway.”

Sue looked at her, still unsure what to think about this woman. Actually she kinda knew which emotion this woman must be already. Everything this woman said fit and was by far not as confusing as Desire’s mysterious talking.

“Before you go, Jealousy,” Sue said softly and the woman looked at her with a mix of shock and disappointment. “I want to know why you are gone forever…I mean yes, I don’t care sharing my girlfriend with other men and women. But surely there must be some out there who doesn’t think this way.”

Jealousy looked at Sue with a grim face and suddenly it was not the woman with black hair anymore but Jack, one of Jess’ friends and hosts of Iris. A image of a scene Sue never witnessed but did happen long ago, before she even met Jess again.

“So we all can agree, that we can feel anyway every movement and orgasm, we don’t have such things like jealousy,” Jack said almost bored. “That spares us a lot of discussions.”

Jack disappeared and the black-haired woman was there again and she made an almost sad face. Sue thought to know what Jealousy felt, if you can argue that an emotion has also feelings like a human.

“The virus made me nearly obsolete,” Jealousy grumbled. “Everybody loves each other now. No rumours about cheating anymore, no cheating at all literally. No difference between sisters, brothers, parents, appearance, no hierarchy in jobs or in the society at all, no money, no memories, no old vendettas that parted families, no disharmony, resentment, envy, vain…NOTHING!”

Jealousy yelled that last word and Sue jumped a bit. Jealousy looked grimly to Sue and her face was filled with disgust and self-pity.

“If you were not just a image of a emotion I don’t have anymore, I almost would be sorry,” Sue said honestly. “But I guess you don’t care.”

“Damn right, smartass,” Jealousy hissed. “I don’t care. I just enjoy the few people in the horde that are jealous, because they don’t get fucked right now. Or those who are shortly longing for a perfect body before they are lucky forever, enjoying their permanent horniness. I am not a 'challenge' to you at all.”

“Why you showed yourself at all then?” Sue asked with a frown. “When you are so convinced that you 'can’t challenge me' at all?”

“Because it’s not everything about you, Sue,” Jealousy snapped and turned her back to Sue, going back into the dark mist. “But you know this anyway. I am just here, because some things would not have gone the way they went if I wasn’t involved.” And before Sue could ask what that had to mean, Jealousy disappeared in the dark.
