A tragedy happens

After the delicious lunch cooked by Heather and Victoria was eaten, the eight teenagers scattered around the cabin, each one finding something to do. Brandon and Chloe retired to their respective bedrooms to take a nap while Gavin went to sit on the deck again, the light brown-haired boy had found that particular place really nice and calm for playing or just surfing the web. That left Zack, Heather, Ashley, Victoria and Kurt lounging on the living room. Zack was sitting on a stuffed chair, Ashley occupied the loveseat and Heather, Victoria and Kurt sat on the bigger couch.

As the minutes passed, it was becoming clearer and clearer that Victoria and Kurt were the only ones talking, though. Zack fumed as he watched the older guy flirt with his crush with an air of smugness around him. He noticed that he wasn’t the only one getting annoyed by the whole situation, Heather and Ashley too were shooting dirty looks at Kurt every once in a while.

A few more minutes later, Heather made a show of huffing and standing up to turn on the TV. There wasn’t anything that she liked on, but she figured something had to be done to stop her cousin before he could hurt Victoria. Unfortunately, the two of them continued talking and laughing as if nothing was bothering them, Kurt even threw a brief glance at his cousin to wink mockingly at her. She then turned to Ashley, her fellow cheerleader caught her eye and they sighed in exasperation.

Finally, Zack couldn’t take it anymore and jumped to his feet. “I’m gonna see what Gavin’s doing,” he announced and quickly left to the deck on the back of the cabin. Once there, he spotted Gavin on the same chaise he had been before lunch, playing on his phone. He sat down next to his friend, who didn’t even look like he noticed his arrival.

“What level did you get with your wizard, Gavin?” Zack asked after a few minutes of that.

“Forty-nine,” Gavin answered without taking his eyes off his phone.

“Forty-nine?!” Zack's eyes widened in astonishment. “Wow, I’m still at level twelve with my knight.”

“If you played as much as me, you’d be on level forty, at least,” Gavin stated.

Zack chuckled. “True, buddy,” he agreed, fishing his own phone out of his pocket. He opened ‘Fatal Tower of Doom’, the game that he and Gavin were playing for the last couple of weeks. “Might as well get a few levels now. God knows I can’t stand to be in that room.”

“Victoria’s still talking to Heather’s cousin?” Gavin inquired.

“Yeah, she seems to be all over him,” Zack answered as his knight’s sword cut a zombie in half.

“That sucks,” Gavin said. “I’d offer to talk with Victoria in our room later, but I don’t know if I would be able to ask her about such an intimate issue. Not sure if our friendship is at that level yet."

“That’s okay, Gavin,” Zack killed another monster. “It’s the thought that counts.”

Gavin nodded. He cursed himself for not being able to discuss his recent crush on Heather with his best friend, but that was something he didn’t want anyone knowing about. For now, at least. “Got level fifty!” the light brown-haired boy exclaimed as his wizard’s fire magic incinerated a group of orcs.

“Congratulations, buddy,” Zack said, glad that his friend could excel on at least one field besides schoolwork.

Back in the living room, Heather was just about done witnessing Victoria fall even deeper into the evil thrall of her cousin. She huffed and caught Ashley’s eye as she got up on her feet. The brunette indicated with her head for the blonde to follow her. Ashley caught on and stood up as well. The two of them went into the master bedroom that Heather would be sharing with Zack. Heather then closed the door before both of them sat on the edge of the bed.

“So,” Heather drawled. “What we're gonna do with our dear Vicky?”

Ashley huffed in response, letting her body fall on the bed. “I don’t know, she’s already breaking her own promise,” she turned to Heather. “Can’t you, like, throw your cousin out or something?”

“I tried to leave him behind,” Heather replied before groaning. “But my mom **** me to bring him along.”

The blonde nodded. “Is he so bad, though?” she asked curiously. “I'm not judging him too harshly, am I?"

Heather shook her head. “Trust me, he’s worse than you thought.”

They became silent until Ashley raised her head with her blue eyes wide open and a grin on her face. “I’ve got an idea!” she exclaimed, getting her brunette's friend attention. “What if we try to set Vicky up with someone else?”

“What?” Heather asked back with a raised eyebrow.

“We can try to hook her up with a guy we'd approve, a good guy,” Ashley explained, excitedly. “Like Zack, or even Gavin. Mainly Zack, though.”

“That could work, I guess,” Heather agreed with some uncertainty. She snickered in her mind, she couldn’t really tell Ashley that she had teased the hell out of the very guy her friend wanted to hook up with Vicky. “I can ask him later before we go to sleep.”

“Yes, please do that, Heather,” Ashley pleaded. “I can't stand seeing Vicky with another jerk ever again. If she falls for him, I’m switching her as my best friend for you.”

Heather laughed. “Thanks for that, Miss 'I let my boyfriend hump me in the lake'."

Ashley blushed, mortified at the memory. “Brandon told me you saw us,” she said, dejectedly.

“Yeah, Zack probably told him we watched you two,” Heather revealed. “But don’t worry, if anything I’m glad one of my friends is as kinky as I am.”

Ashley's mouth opened in gape. “I’m not kinky!” she said indignantly, although a laugh was threatening to escape her lips. “Okay, maybe a little.”

In the living room, there was no one left watching the TV as Kurt and Victoria chatted. He was telling her about a stunt he pulled at his high school a couple of years before. It was all fake, of course, he just wanted to make the little blonde laugh and get her even more interested on him, thinking he was a funny guy. Kurt had to admit, though, that he hadn’t expected Victoria to get into him so quickly, but he sure as hell wouldn’t complain. It’s making my job so much easier, she’ll be begging for my cock in no time.

Speaking of time, Kurt decided that now it was a good time as any to speed things up a bit. He reached his hand to her right cheek, cupping it. Victoria immediately stopped talking and followed his hand with her green eyes.

“You’re so beautiful when you laugh, Victoria,” he caressed her cheek with his thumb, preparing one of the lines he used the most on girls. “But then again, you’re always beautiful.”

Her lips parted in a wide smile and then Kurt knew it was time to climb up a step. He leaned in and brushed her soft lips with his. He didn’t rush things, knowing it would be bad for his future plans. He let Victoria get used to his lips on hers and waited for her to make the next move. Soon, the pretty blonde began to move her lips against his, reaching up a hand to the back of his neck. Kurt felt his cock straining painfully inside his pants, he wanted nothing more than ravage that sexy girl until she screamed his name, but he knew how to wait. Contrary to popular belief, Kurt Johnson was a very patient young man.

He licked her lips, asking for permission to invade her mouth and, just as he felt her lips parting for him, the sound of the glass doors on the kitchen opening made her jerk away from him.

When Zachary entered the cabin from the back door, he immediately spotted Victoria and Kurt alone on the far side of the big room that comprised the living room and the kitchen. He cursed, quickly imagining that Heather and Ashley couldn’t digest the scene anymore than he did and probably fled to one of the bedrooms. He walked past them and noticed with a pang on his heart that they were looking a little flushed. Zack knew he had interrupted something there. Wordlessly, he went to the master bedroom, failing to see Victoria running to the opposite hallway.
