A rude awakening the next morning

The apartment Doc set us up with is amazing. It's not too fancy, but I never really understood why people buy fancy things, and it's a lot roomier than my previous one. Koneko took responsibility for moving most of the stuff between apartments, showing off her strength. "Wow, K-Koneko-chan, you're really strong." The neko doesn't stop moving as she responds.

"Thanks." By the time we finish moving, it's time for bed.

Timeskip to next morning

As I wake for school, I smell something burning. My immediate instinct leads me to break my new room's window situated next to my bed. Before I can crawl through though, I hear my room door open.

"What's going on in here?" Rias approaches with a calm demeanor, prepared for my usual problems.

"We have to get out, something's on fire!" Before I can try and get through again, Rias lightly grabs my shoulder.

"Nothing's burning, honey. The only thing I smell is breakfast." Why would there be breakfast here?

"That doesn't make sense, I always have breakfast at school." Rias looks...amused? Why?

"Sweetheart, that food isn't healthy for you. I've got it covered from now on, okay?" She leads me down to the kitchen to see the others gathered around the table, but only one plate.

"Wha--Wh..."

"We don't have to eat; we're robots, remember? Just sit back and enjoy." Akeno smiles, while Koneko has a neutral expression.

"This is delicious." I probably could've put more emotion into that, but I was too busy doing what Rias asked.

"Thanks, sweetie. Now..." She stands me up, and I feel a weight on my shoulders. "Off to school." She seems to have prepped everything, but what throws me is Akeno and Koneko standing with me.

"A-Are you sure it's okay for you guys to be in public?" They are the splitting image of anime characters after all.

"Of course, little bro, we're for your mental health. It's just an added bonus that we pass for actual people." Oh my god, I'm actually going to school with Akeno and Koneko! What would school be like now?
