A room with a chest

The next room greeted Kasha with another treasure chest, in the center of a mostly empty room. A pink line beginning at the entryway, and about as wide as one of her feet, traced a zigzag pattern all around the room without getting within reach of the treasure chest. Could it be a path? Or part of some magical defense?

Either way, there was a chest in the middle of the room and a doorway on the other side.
