A group of giant slugs

Jocelyn’s group makes a lot of ground fast. They come across the occasional pack of Lupicks or a clutch of Octi. The soldiers take them down with ease and cheer every time. At some point First Company happens across a duo of Raptors that were crossing the road. Jocelyn order the girls on her tank to open fire on them both. One of them takes down a Raptor with a single well placed shot from her sniper rifle. The other fills it with lead shot from her **** rifle. Both Raptors drop dead to the ground after which Jocelyn’s tank drives over them, crushing their corpses underneath her treads.

By the time First Company reaches the 8 mile mark, they come across a large yellow pool. A large group of giant slugs, of many different colors, has gathered at a crossing. Amongst them are even a few even larger yellow ones. Jocelyn motions to Felicia to have their tanks drive side by side and calls over to her advisor.
“What’s the word on those slugs?” Jocelyn asks.

“I’ve seen some of those on the recon mission.” Felicia says. “They secrete the yellow mucus. A squad mate of mine got some on her at it ate right through her clothes.”

“So these tossers think having us drive through that will destroy our treads and wheels, is it?” Jocelyn replies. “Good thing the TRT made these hunnies resistant against that stuff.”

“Careful though. These slugs can be pretty fast.” Felicia warns.

Jocelyn has her three tanks line up. Once they are close enough to the slugs she orders those with sniper rifles to open fire. The girls pump the slugs full of bullets. The slugs that get fired upon turn to their opponent and start charging, but fall dead before they get close to them.

When the slugs in front of them have been taken care of they move onto the crossing, into the pool of mucus. They get a surprising bump, though. Apparently the road underneath the mucus has already been dissolved.

When the APC’s move into the mucus, one of the girls that was sitting too close to the edge loses her balance and falls off. Luckily she lands on her butt. But as she stands her pants already start falling apart, eaten away by the mucus. She trudges through the mucus back towards the APC she fell from. One of her fellow soldiers reaches out her hand to help pull her back on. The soldier in the mucus holds out her mucus covered hand, grabs that of her friend, and gets pulled back onto the APC. As expected, her friends on the APC immediately start joking about her being the first to get butt naked. Even her panties and shoes have dissolved.

With three tanks and four APC’s at the crossing, Jocelyn orders her girls to look sideways and take down the other slugs. Bullets fly and slugs fall. The yellow King Slugs are the hardest opponents. Some of them nearly reach the vehicles, but as soon as they come into range of the flame throwers the mollusks get set on fire.
Only when every last slug is dead does First Company cross the yellow pool and continue towards the tower.

Two miles further up the nude Asian dickgirl with the beret lowers her binoculars.
“The mucus doesn’t dissolve their vehicles.” She says.
“Did they find a way to annul it’s effects?” One of her three handmaidens asks.
“Looks like it.” The Matriarch replies. “I had heard the TRT was working on it, but I didn’t know how far they were with any prototypes. Still, I’ve already been preparing the next trap.”
“Lucky for us they took this road, right Kirie?” The other greyhaired handmaiden says. “At least we don’t have to start digging tunnels under here.”
“It’s not luck, Audrey.” Kirie says as she walks to the roof’s edge facing the tower. “Lydia studied the city and decided that if an **** were to happen this is one of the most likely routes they’d take. Those tunnels are dug as preparation for this.”
Kiria then puts two fingers in her mouth and whistles. Suddenly four Harpies fly up from underneath the building and perch onto the roof’s edge.
“Did it work, mistress? Did it? Did it?” One the harpies asks excitedly.
“Unfortunately no, I need you to bring us closer to the tower.” The Matriarch says.
“We’ll get reward for helping you, right?” Asks another Harpy.
Kirie smiles and says, “Don’t worry, first we thin them out, then when it’s safe you get to pick some for yourselves.”
“Not any of the ones with red hair.” The blue haired handmaiden interrupts. “My sister is supposed to belong with us.”
“Sure, sure. We bring redheads to you. If you say no good, we keep her. Otherwise, you keep.”
Kirie and her handmaidens then spread their arms and allow the Harpies to pick them up. Then the Harpies fly off with them and head deeper into the city.
