A sinkhole

The victory against the slugs has kept First Company’s motivation high. They keep cruising through the city and make good time. They only stop to take down some towerling hunting parties. But when they get to 6 miles from the tower they suddenly get a surprise.

One moment Jocelyn and her tank were driving along the road. Until from out of nowhere the asphalt around her cracks. Then the block of road she and Felicia had their tanks on just falls away underneath them. They fall deep enough that their tanks can no longer get out. Luckily nobody fell off the tanks. Though everyone in and on the tanks is quite shocked. While they recover from the shock of falling through the road a towerling attack commences. They come from tunnels that have been dug under the asphalt. A large number of Lupicks joined with several giant bunnies. By the time Jocelyn has comprehended what happened Lupicks are already crawling on her tank. She takes her shotgun and shoots one in the head. Then turns to her other side and shoots another Lupick. The gunner in her tank activates the mounted gun and starts shooting Lupicks as well. Same for Felicia and her tank’s gunner.

“All troops, get out of your bloody APC’s and surround this bleedin sinkhole!” Jocelyn orders in a microphone.

A couple APC’s drive up to the edge. They start shooting towerlings inside the sinkhole while they open their hatches. Troops head out and move towards the sinkhole Jocelyn is in. They aim their guns down and join in the firefight.

For a moment it seems like an easy battle. Then one of the girls surrounding the sinkhole gets hit in the back with spider web. Immediately after she gets dragged back and drops her gun in the process. Her fellow troops turn around and see how a spiderling shooter is dragging her up the side of a building. The girl screams as the spider quickly wraps her in its silk and then disappears with her through an open window in the building. Surrounding that window are several dozen other spiderlings. As they hang from the side of the building they start shooting their silk and capture one soldier after another. Those that get dragged away from the company scream and cry for help. Loud enough for Jocelyn to hear it.
“What’s happening up there?” Jocelyn calls in her microphone. “Give me a status update.”

“It’s spiders, Ma’m. They’re coming from the buildings. We’re surrounded.” A soldier communicates with her.

Jocelyn hates this. Her troops above are under attack and she is trapped down here. If she orders them to take down the towerlings in the sinkhole they will be picked off one by one. If she orders them to defend themselves, the Lupicks will get her.
The two tanks together have 2 mounted guns, 5 shotguns, 2 LMG’s, 2 flamethrowers, 4 snipers, 1 **** rifle and 2 canons. The girls with sniper rifles have already switched to their pistols. The LMG girls are doing fine for now, but it’ll be a problem when they need to reload. Suddenly a burrower grabs one of the snipers and pulls her down. Right next to the tank it rips off her pants and shoves it’s dick inside her. Jocelyn blows the bunny’s brains out but a Lupick drags the girl out from underneath and takes its place.
But after another quick look at her surroundings she gets an idea. There are four tunnels from which the towerlings are coming. As long as the towerlings keep flowing into this hole there is no way she can win. Jocelyn crawls into her tank and tells her crew, “Blow up the tunnels! Use the main gun!”
She then goes back out and resumes the fight.
The turret turns, aiming the canon in the direction of one of the tunnels the towerlings are coming from and fires. As the shell explodes, the tunnel collapses. Then the turret does the same for the second tunnel and the third. The fourth tunnel Jocelyn orders not to collapse, but focus their fire on. With the situation down here under control, Jocelyn leaves her tank. The rest of her troops need her. She runs up to the edges of the sinkhole. Pieces of broken asphalt lie broken in a pile. She manages to climb up out of the hole.

“Too bad.” Kirie says from atop her vantage point. “I had hoped for all three of their tanks to fall in. Only the first two got caught.”

“Any sign of my sister yet?” Kirie’s blue haired handmaiden asks.

“No, I don’t see her, Frost.” Kirie replies. “Fire must be with a different group. Take one of the harpies and go find the other Matriarchs.”

Frost then walks up to edge of the roof and calls “Sialia!”

At her command, a blue feathered harpy flies up.

“I’m here.” The blue harpy says. “Oh, did you hear? Did you hear? Robin’s sister failed the trial. She told me just now. That means she had to be bred. Robin’s going to be an aunt. What do you think about it? Want me to go tell Robin your opinion?”

“Not now, Sialia.” Frost says. “I need you to take me to Minerva.”

“Oooh, you want to tell Minerva about Robin’s sister? Great idea. We’ll tell her all about it.”

Sialia picks Frost up, flies off with her and tells Frost many more things about Robin.”

When Jocelyn gets out of the sinkhole she quickly scans the situation. Spiderlings, both on the left and the right side of the street, are coming out of the buildings. They shoot webbing at the troops and pull them away from the rest of the troops. Plenty of spiderlings reeling in their prey get shot down before they can claim their prize, but a couple of them still manage to catch their prize. In the end, it’s a tug of war between Roses hiding behind their APC’s and spiderlings hiding in the buildings. With occasionally some getting taken down on both sides.

Jocelyn gathers the attention of her troops and yells, “Stand your ground. Shotgunners, half of you go into the buildings to the left! The rest of you join me at the right!”

Then Jocelyn runs across the street and into one of the buildings. Behind her several Roses with shotguns follow. Save for one who gets hit by webbing and gets pulled up. Jocelyn rushes to the second floor. There she finds a spiderling shooter ready to launch webs at the troops outside. One shot leaves a hole in its side and it dies. A room further is another shooter and a scout which she both takes down. The next floor up has two spiderling shooters in one room which she and her girls take down. In the next room a shooter is busy wrapping in a soldier he just caught. Jocelyn kills the giant spider and orders one of her soldiers to release the woman getting wrapped up.

Jocelyn keeps moving up, floor by floor. Giving each a quick sweep. At the roof she finds with three spiderling shooters. One of them is wrapping up another soldier. Further up lie five girls that are already wrapped up like mummies. Those five are being taken care of by a spiderling scout. One of the five has got the webbing around her butt ripped away and is lying butt naked with sperm coming out of her vagina. The woman next to her has also got her rear exposed. The scout has already mounted her. It thrusts its hips, eager to impregnate a second.

Jocelyn rushes to the scout. The troops following her can take care of the shooters. When she gets close to the scout, it rears his head just to learn how it feels to receive the back of a shotgun to the face. The blow throws the scout off his victim. Then there is a shot and he is no more. But when Jocelyn looks at the woman she dismounted him from there is a trail of white goo dripping from her pussy. She was too late.

With the building cleared, Jocelyn walks to the roof’s edge. She looks down and sees the street is a lot calmer now. The buildings to her left and right have soldiers on the roof as well. The buildings on the other side of the street are mostly cleared, just the top floors remain. The sinkhole no longer has live towerlings in it and a flamethrower and LMG unit are guarding the last tunnel.

Then Jocelyn receives a message from Felicia.

“Enemy units are cleared, captain. What do you want us to do now?”

Jocelyn gets her microphone and replies, “Gather all the troops they captured out of the buildings and bring them into the street. Get them out of the webbing and see which ones we can recuperate.”

In total the spiderlings had collected 37 soldiers. Most luckily were only wrapped up in wait of being impregnated. Sadly 14 of them had already been screwed. As a result, their bodies were now heavily sedated and could no longer participate in the ****.

Jocelyn decided to collect them at the ground floor of one of the buildings. They can lay there and rest until the sedation wears off. When the tower is conquered she’ll come back for them. Now she just needs to hope no towerling comes across them while they are in this state.

The other 23 were cut out of their cocoons but as a result of the webbing not only their clothes had dissolved, but the weapons they were carrying had become inoperable. Jocelyn sighs with relief that no flamethrower units had been caught in the webbing. She can only imagine how gruesome a fate it would be if the fuel tank they carry got compromised. Some of the other troops hand them their pistols so these nude soldiers at least have some weapon to fight with. Now Jocelyn needs to decide. Do they keep going above ground or do they enter that one tunnel in the sinkhole that is left and get into the tower that way?
