A farm

For several hours now Lara could hear lots of noise coming from upstairs, why would they take this long if its just me going somewhere she thought and where could mom be sending me, of all the possibilities that had been going over and over in her mind government lab was the top probability going on the assumption mom was still trying to turn her back and had run out of ways to do it.

Soon Kate entered the basement carrying some heavy looking cloth, "ok dear its time, I'm going to cover you up with these so you cant be seen while we load you up", Kate said while putting what looked like a horse blanket over her back and a smaller blanket over her head, as normal when let out of her pen she was on a leash attached to her nose ring but this time she was taken upstairs for the first time since she was brought down here, on the one hand(or hoof now) she was scared of where she might be going but on the other Lara really was glad to be out of that dark space, she was immediately loaded in to a waiting horse box and off they went.

After a very long and quite uncomfortable ride which meant they must have been well into the country side the trio of vehicles pulled off the road and on to a dirt track which was even worse for Lara in the trailer, about 10 minutes later they pulled up to a farm, it had one main building with a large turning circle in front of it, to the left of the building were chicken coops and other small farm buildings but on the other side of the house was a big red barn in a large fenced off area, reversing Lara's trailer up to an open gate in the fence and they eventually came and let her out.

Being in the dark for so long Kate was not surprised Lara pulled back when the door opened and she was in the bright light, Leading Lara out of the trailer by leash through the field and into the barn Kate decided it was time to fully explain where they are and what is going to happen, "Lara this is your aunt's farm, yes you have an aunt, I'm sorry you will have to meet her this way i didn't expect to see her ever again after some problems came up between us about ten years ago which i didn't think she would forgive me for but given we needed a safe space for you i called and she agreed to let us stay here, honestly i was quite surprised but thankful she did as the basement was not good for you and nowhere else would have been safe, other places might have experimented on you or worse Sarah has said i can work on the farm until i can find a way to turn you back"

Lara had never thought mum would be hiding a sister from her whatever falling out they had must have been huge, Lara was wondering what this aunt would be like as she was led into an open stall in the barn, there were ten stalls in total and six already had other cows in them, Lara could tell some were being milked as the moos they made were just like she had sounded earlier, once she was locked in she had a quick look around although there was not much to see, hay on the floor, a milking machine in the corner and two buckets for food and water, after that she wondered what her aunt was going to be like, unfortunately for Lara she didn't have to wait long as a woman who's face looked identical to her mom's walked in.

"well well well what do we have here" the woman dressed in overalls which barely covered her large breasts said, "it looks like my new cow has arrived, Lara was quite worried by that statement and the way her aunt looked at her, she was not a cow and she was certainly did not belong to this woman but just as she was thinking that Sarah grabbed some tagging pliers and a tag with a three on it and brought it up to Lara's ear "you are my new cow number three", Lara expected the tagging to hurt more than it did in fact what pained her more was how it made her feel less human, without another word Sarah left and a very depressed Lara hung her head down low, was this to be her life now?
