A Date

"I wanted to ask if you'd like to go on a date after school." Myla says, a slight blush on her cheeks.

"Eric, since you can't today. Would you want to tomorrow?" Hino asks and I nod.

"Yeah, that sounds great." I say causing them both to smile. "What time would you want to meet up?"

"I'm good after one. I have training until noon, and will need time to get ready." Hino says and Myla nods.

"I'm free then too. What about you Eric?" Myla asks and I nod again.

"I don't have any plans. Where do you want to go?" I ask and they shrug.

"How about you choose, we didn't plan this far." Myla says with a slight laugh and I smile.

"Okay, but don't hate me if y-" I start before the bell interrupts me. Myla groans and Hino chuckles.

"C'mon, let's get this over with." Hino tells her.

"Fine." Myla groans out. We leave the roof and I lock the door behind us. We split up on the stairs, both of them getting off on the second floor. I continue to the first and make my way to my chemistry class. Ms. Jack starts the class and hands out our Finals. The class goes the same as the rest. Once I've finished mine I turn it in and leave. I check the time to see I have seventeen minutes left. I debate whether or not I should go to my Domain. I decide against it since I'd have to come back and I've already visited quite a bit. I decide to go to the library again. Instead of Meditating though, I just want to think. I should plan out my vacation. I feel like I have a lot I want to do. Today I'm going to meet Verona, the Goddess of knowledge. Tomorrow I have the date with Myla and Hino at 1 PM. I could take Luna and Innu into a Dungeon. I do have three level 39 ones from the hobo camp. But I don't know what's inside them. I can clear one today when I meet Verona. Yeah, I'll do that. So that's today and tomorrow figured out. I do need to tell the guilds about Gaia if she's okay with it. I'd also like to go collect more of Bergeth's Soul Fragments. So I'll d-. I think before the bell rings, interrupting me again. I get up and go to my study period. Fortunately, I finished all my other Midterms so once they've marked me down on the attendance, I'm free to go. I return to my Domain and find Luna, Gaia, Asami, and Innu sitting on the couch or some chairs. It looks like they just got out of the bath, and Asami still has a towel around her hair.

"Eric, welcome back. Is school over?" Gaia asks upon seeing me.

"Yep, I don't have any school until next Thursday." I respond causing Luna to howl. She surprises me since I haven't heard her howl before. The other girls laugh and I smile.

"Do you have any plans, Master?" Asami asks and I nod.

"I'm going to clear a new Dungeon." I say and both Luna and Innu jump up.

"Can we come!" Luna shouts, her tails wagging behind her. Innu starts nodding and I sigh.

"I have no idea what the monsters will be. It's going to be dangerous." I say and the two just nod. Asami stands up with a sigh.

"That's just going to make them want to come more." Asami says and Luna nods. "Besides, if it's going to be dangerous I'd rather they come with you." She continues and Gaia nods in agreement.

"Okay, you two can come with me. But I have something I need to do afterward so you'll have to come back without me." I say and the two nod.

"Are you meeting Verona?" Gaia asks a little excitedly and I nod. Luna and Innu run off to put their armor on and gear up. Asami asks who Verona is and Gaia explains why she wanted me to meet her.

"Alpha! We're ready!" Luna almost shouts with Innu next to her. They each have their weapons and armor on and I swap to mine.

"Be careful out there!" Asami says sternly.

"Yes ma'am!" Both Innu and Luna say in unison.

"If you get hurt in there come back and I'll heal you. So don't take any risks okay!" Gaia says, joining in on Asami's warnings. I smile before thanking her and grabbing Luna and Innu. I take their hands and enter one of the three Dungeons I made in the hobo camp. Once we enter I check my stealth indicator from my Sense Presence skill. It tells me that nothing's watching us so I start looking around. I can see a few of the hobo camps tents on the ground. They've been knocked over and are covered in a dark thick liquid. I can see some small trees starting to grow. The base of them is surrounded by the same dark thick liquid as the tents. The trees look like they're still growing, being only a few feet tall. I can see a few leaves on the end but nothing else.

"What is this?" Innu asks while poking some of the liquid with a stick. She pulls it back after it starts smoking. The liquid sticks to the stick like thick honey. It melts through the stick in a matter of seconds.

"It has a bad smell." Luna says and I try to Observe it. I get a pop-up saying Invalid Target and sigh.

"I don't know, but try not to step in it." I say before we start walking. We manage to avoid walking in any of the liquid. After a few minutes, we find our first monster. It's a tall green humanoid creature. It has two arms and a head. Its torso is shaped like a woman, including a pair of breasts. Where their legs would be it's just green. It seems to slide on the ground and leaves a trail of the same dark liquid from before, behind it. Fortunately, it hasn't noticed us yet. I use Observe on it while telling the girls what I read.
