9. She’s pretty lost
For all her training and innate connection to the woods, Arleth is pretty lost. She can’t get a good bearing on the stars as the sun starts to rise in the east and she knows better than to trust the mosses of the enchanted wood. They were just as likely to grow on the north side of a tree to help a traveler as to grow on the south side to intentionally trick them.
Looking around, she listens for the sounds of any of the denizens of the woods to determine her safety.
