15. An empty cabin
She sees the glint of something through the trees and focuses her attention. It’s the rising sun reflecting off of glass. Though it’s possible the cabin is still inhabited, the prospect of being able to find tools and other equipment outweighs the danger in her mind.
Arleth darts between the trees, trying to determine from afar if the cabin is inhabited. She’s soon able to figure out that it’s not. Dust cakes the windows and the door is off its hinges. She still tries to be stealthy as she approaches to see if there’s anything inside worth taking.
