[E] Giant Constrictor Snake

Dawn breaks as Aeylin shakes awake her muscles for the day, her tail flicking at some of the musquitos that have been pesking her throughout the night. She gathers what few of her belongings she's brought with her and makes her way to scout the area, there are no tracks as far as she can tell but she's never been 'the best' scout out there. She's far more sensitive to the sounds of her surroundings and the body language of others. And sure she'll notice if things are out of place but it's not like she's been in this forest before. Her eyes stay glued to the ground as she seeks the area in close proximity of what once housed the rift. Unbeknownst to her another creature had slithered in her path, the tall grass aiding to cover it's presence and unlike yesterday the Mares ears had failed her this time. Just as she was about to step on the snake it lunged at her in an attempt to wrap itself around her front hoof.

[DM] Snake 12 (6+6) - Aeylin 14 (11+2+1)
The Mare staggers in surprise as the giant snake lunges from beneath her and quickly trots over it as she turns to face it, the snake hisses and prepares itself for combat.

Recovering from the surprise attack she readys her bow and takes a shot at the constrictor.

[DM] The snake dodges with an 11 bending it's neck out of the way before she can make the shot, only to jump out at her ankles again. Atk: NAT 1

Aeylin trots a few spaces back as the snake launches itself at her, she readys another arrow and lets it fly true: 17

Snake: 14. 12.
The snake attemts to wiggle out of her aim and hisses out in agony as an arrow scrapes its scales dealing 4 piercing damage ending it's life.
