[Encounter] Lamia

[DM] Unfortunately for her a creature had been slithering close to her and successfully remained unnoticed up until now, it was just as the mare started to doze off her ears began to twitch from a sound.. Something was off.

Aeylin 12 - Lamia 9 (6+3)

The mare jerked alert and quickly found her footing, eye to eye with a creature she'd not yet encountered before. With limited light, she made out its appearance. The body looked like that of a large snake with the upper torso of a humanoid and a feminine elf-like face. She had fiery red hair, and equally fierce, slitted, orange eyes that pierced through the night almost seeming to glow in the shimmers from the sky. Her scales were various shades of red.

"Sshhaa.. Almossst made an easssy prey"

[P] Aeylin reaches for her bow and readies an arrow.
"Not today.. how about neither of us hunts the other, I'm not fond of unnecessary bloodshed. Besides It's better to have allies then foes wouldn't you agree?"

"You sspeak truth stranger, what bringss you to my territory?"

"Aeylin, I'm Aeylin. It appears our worlds have connected, I came here through a rift.. a portal if you will, a gateway between the realms. When I entered it disappeared leaving me stuck, I came to seek my friends and seek out the cause of this disturbance"

"Iss that so? Curiouss. You are lucky I'm neither hungry nor insssatiable at the moment" She smirks.
"I have not sseen ssmelled your so called friendss, I would have picked up their scent if they had crosssed here. I will allow you to resst, but I exsspect you to leave come morning."

"Of course, I'll respect your wish lady..."

"Galini.. I wouldn't mind crossing paths once more, be it in a different mood.." With that she slithers off, leaving you undisturbed throughout the night.
