It can be daunting to awake with no memory of who, or where you are, nor how you came to be there, and more daunting still to learn that you, and you alone have been prophesied to stop the universe from falling to ashes under the rule of the dead. With no recollection of my past life, and only the words of a stranger to guide me, all I could do was take one uncertain step after another along the path to gain enough power to fulfil my destiny.
