Let's meet the contestants!
by Felixfalck
Chapter 3 in Changers!
A rare silence fell over the arena as each contestant was provided with a prompt. Just a single word for them to draw, making their best attempt to make something the audience might guess, but not their opponent. One minute to contemplate, then two minutes to draw for a total of...

Chapter 5 in Seasonal Stories
"Anyone else who saw that bunny girl leaving the witch's house?" Nick asked, genuinely in awe by the sheer absurdity of the sight. "Yea, what's the deal with that?" "I'm sure she had the wrong address or something." "That makes sense." Neither of the friends seemed to rememb...

Sam's third turn
by Felixfalck
Chapter 24 in Chicken out: The game
With his piece positioned on the sixth tile of the board, Sam eyed the golden die intensely. Seeing it as a great opportunity to get ahead, he judged it'd be a wise decision to utilize it to further his campaign to traverse the board quickly. As he grabbed the usual die, he also...

The Influencer Showdown

Chapter 2 in Changers!
In a dimly lit arena, slight murmurs could be heard moments before the big show. The large LCD screens generously spread across the space all instructed the audience on how to behave. The game was broadcast on live television after all! They were currently displaying a character...

Chapter 4 in Artifacts of good and evil
John didn't even know where to start. The gun fired and things changes. He understood as such, but how did it actually work? Could he influence how the gun affected things? Just like a boon from the heavens, a very helpful clue presented itself to him when James eventually got...

John Adams - Deadbeat student
by Felixfalck
Chapter 3 in Artifacts of good and evil
John was as average as they came. With his short brown hair, brow-green eyes, medium but slightly pudgy frame and less than ideal posture he rarely stood out in a crowd. He currently found himself in some storage room behind campus after having caught wind of the resale value...

Camila's first red
by Felixfalck
Chapter 23 in Chicken out: The game
Clearly upset at the poor result of her throw, Camila was more infuriated with the consequences than the number itself. A red. A fucking red tile. If there was one thing she was happy with as it was, it was her mind. Her strong, confident mind. Having seen it's effects a couple o...

Chapter 1 in Changers!
The show so engraved into modern pop culture, only fanatics are able to list every previous contestant. With games changing from episode to episode, the only thing you can expect is _change_ itself. With an ever growing cast of players, the only constant is the overly...

Chapter 26 in Artifacts of good and evil
"We just don't know what to do. She used to be so bright! Please, you have to do something!" Holding back tears, Rachael's mother pleaded, her prayers being met with the serious and professional gaze of a psychiatrist. It had been many months since her beloved daughter's life to...

Chapter 25 in Artifacts of good and evil
To Rachael's chagrin, the weather hadn't exactly facilitated well for running in her most recent garbs. Still set on keeping her routine going strong, she'd instead used what little weather-appropriate gear she had. But finally the sun was out, and she couldn't wait to get going....

An unexpected turn of events
by Felixfalck
Chapter 22 in Chicken out: The game
Before Camila ever had the chance to commit to her throw, the boardgame lit up in red. "Player three may not proceed until the previous turn has concluded!" Looking around her, bewildered, she couldn't comprehend why the game had stopped her dead in her tracks. "Did you not to...

Troy's drastic turn
by Felixfalck
Chapter 21 in Chicken out: The game
"That would be me." Troy's voice was deeper, more assured than before, courtesy of the complete body overhaul he'd received over the course of the game. It pained Sabrina, but she had to admit that Troy was becoming more of a man than Sam ever was, even before the game began. Th...

by Felixfalck
Chapter 20 in Chicken out: The game

Caitlyn's second turn
by Felixfalck
Chapter 18 in Chicken out: The game
Clearly disinterested, at least compared to the rest of the group, Caitlyn got on with it. The feeling of dread one would expect to be clouding her mind right about then didn't exist. All she felt was ..apathy. Apathy for whatever outcome may arise, whatever fate awaited her. It...

by Felixfalck
Chapter 24 in Artifacts of good and evil
"You know it'd be quicker _this_ way, right?" Rebecca pointed to the opposite direction of where the two were headed. A grimace had pasted itself all over Rachael's face, wanting to avoid heading that direction at any cost. Being lucky enough to get away with a couple of lewd ph...

Chapter 17 in Chicken out: The game

Barbara's second go
by Felixfalck
Chapter 16 in Chicken out: The game
Even holding the die felt strange to Barbara. Her hands, albeit the same size as before, were much more collaborative. Her movements smoother, and less draining. As our bodies gradually age, the day-to-day effects are impossible to notice, but suddenly having the clock turned bac...
