Presentation world and characters

The story is set in the DC world to this day.

New characters invented:

Nicholas Kleng grew up as an orphan, and now he’s a 30 years old genetic engineer who works for Darpa in the superhero study department. His mother and brother were civilians who died during Zod’s attack, while his father was a soldier who died fighting alongside Superman against Zod’s armies.

Brief summary of past events:

We are 10 years after Zod’s attack where all of Nick’s family died, working as a genetic engineer for Darpa, It is currently three years that work at the DEO where they are studying an enhanced serum that provides american soldiers super powers. Unfortunately the project brought only failure and all the test subjects died or did not get any super power, all this combined with the great cost of the project led to its closure, which happened at the hands of the same Superman who learned of the project decided that it should be closed because dangerous. Nick managed to hide two capsules of the serum and once home decided to take both. The injections almost killed him, he stayed two days on the kitchen floor and woke up in a pitiful condition, the compounds he had stolen had to guarantee super strength and increased endurance. But he could not raise a piece of furniture so nothing super strength, he put a hand on the stove and got burned so no increased resistance, then it was really a failure all his work. Listen to the door ring, it was his landlord, Mr Malloy, who was asking for the rent in arrears, who after ringing I entered with his keys, screaming for the three months back and threatening immediate eviction, Nick was psychologically destroyed and I think that Malloy had to stop screaming because it was not the case, immediately Malloy calmed down and stopped talking leaving Nick incredulous. He asked Malloy why he was calmed down and stopped asking for arrears, replied that it was what he had ordered, but Nick had only thought and was struck again when Malloy pulled out his wallet and handed him the money exactly as he was thinking.
