The misadventures of a female pirate

The misadventures of a female pirate

Marie in the Prussian Empire

Chapter 1 by Safari.item Safari.item

We are in 1784, more precisely in Berlin during the reign of Frederick II, known as the Great. Marie is, or rather was, a pirate who fought and operated mainly in the Mediterranean. She can speak Portuguese, Spanish, and, of course, she also knows some Italian, specifically the Genoese dialect, as it was one of the ports she frequented most often.

Her great adventure begins right at the port of Genoa. After a night when it was difficult to stay sober, two men, more drunk than anything else, decided that Marie should give herself to them that evening! When the pirate refused, they did not back down and decided they wanted more and intended to get their way that night.

Marie, who had not drunk much that night, decided she certainly did not want to end up prey to those two in some alley of the port and resolved to teach them a lesson. A fight ensued. The two men were large and strong, but they were heavily drunk, almost staggering. Marie, with her sharp reflexes and fighting skills, engaged them in combat.

The first man, despite his size, was no match for Marie's agility and strength. With a series of well-placed kicks, she knocked him down. Unfortunately, as he fell, he hit his head against the edge of a table, losing consciousness, if not worse. The second man, equally intoxicated, tried to grab her, but Marie was quicker. She delivered another series of precise blows, causing him to stumble and fall onto some shards of broken glass scattered on the floor.

As he fell, the glass cut him deeply. Given their state of drunkenness and the severity of their injuries, it was likely that neither man survived the encounter. Marie, realizing the gravity of the situation, knew she had to leave the port quickly.

Unfortunately, Marie was not fast enough to escape, and the Genoese gendarmes, known for their impatience and hasty actions, especially towards someone like her—a woman, and moreover, a criminal accused of killing two men—captured her and threw her into a cold, dark cell. Awaiting her trial, which would surely end in her hanging—a fate she knew all too well awaited her, as she was certain the guards would discover her identity as a pirate—a miracle occurred!

An Italian prince intervened, arranging for her to become his bodyguard. For this wealthy prince, bribing the guards, the witnesses, the judge, and everyone involved in the trial was no problem at all. In a single hearing, the case was resolved. It was declared that the two men had died of natural causes, based on a sworn statement from a doctor who had also been bribed by the nobleman. Thus, since they had died of natural causes, the judge released Marie, declaring her innocent!

From that moment on, Marie became the prince’s bodyguard.

This is the introduction chapter; stay tuned for her adventure.

This narrative will start slowly, but as Marie's 'misadventures' evolve you will find a little bit of everything in this story. Some chapters will be marked with the term (****). This is to indicate those chapters where there will be **** sex, so you can skip them.

If you want to add parallel timelines, or make an event go differently, e.g. make Marie go to the right instead of the left door, it is fine with me to mark it with the term (Different Timeline). The chapters you add must first be approved by me. But don't worry, I often go over this, also because I myself am waiting to see some stories finished ;P

What will she have to endure?
