(Author's Note: SO... After two long years of creative dry spell and a major writer's block that has prevented me from writing seriously, I have decided to try to continue this thread. Bear with me as attempt to get back into the mindset of the premise so the pacing of quality content might be a little slow.)

A long time ago, a great immortal warrior named Skord brought down the rampaging Bardarim, the fabled Ender of Worlds. As reward from the Elder Deities, he was offered the place of a dead War God in the Heavens, but having tasted the thrill of ultimate battle, he refused, choosing to wander the lands with the goal of perfecting the art of war. Time and again, he accomplished impossible feats of strength and skill, earning favor upon favor from fantastical and godlike beings across the Cosmos, and later blessed as a Demi God by both pantheons of Good and Evil. After he meets his final end defeating a resurrected Bardarim, his soul was so powerful that it lingered on, unmoving and untouchable in limbo. Despite attempts by Malakir, the God of , the powers unknown has deemed it fit for the spirit of Skord to live on again and again within the souls of seemingly random mortal men every 1000 years, as a component to keep the balance of life and through warfare in check. These men, called Vessels, inherit the immortality, strength, intelligence, wisdom and power of the fallen Demi God, along with the knowledge, skills and magic of every opponent that Skord has ever faced, which included beings both demonic and divine. Part of his strength lay in the ability to quickly learn every martial art imaginable, overpowering or outwitting his enemies through the skills of others on top of his own, all brought to bear as the Vessels gradually learn of the nature of Skord's existence and the powers they now have through his ancient memories. A Vessel normally never lives longer than 1000 years, but should any be fortunate enough to live that long, the count begins again for the next millennium. Most never do, as it is their fate to perish in glorious battle or through a feat of ultimate sacrifice.

However, how his Vessels act with such power was in their hands. Some became great heroes who fought against the darkness of evil. Some became infamous villains who conquered and relished in the spoils of war. Legends were made as the mortal and divine realms change through the passage of time. Any Vessel was destined for greatness or infamy, regardless if they realize it or not.

Who does Skord inhabit this day?
