The Stepmother's Story

Kim pulled into the driveway and sighed. She'd just had to drive halfway across town because her husband, Roger, had forgotten the notes for his presentation. Roger had told her he would've come back himself, but this presentation was important for his job and he needed to be there to network with, in his words, 'the important players'. Kim thought he just wanted her out of the way, but she'd agreed anyway.

Kim (33) had married Roger (41) only 6 months ago. He was a charming, attractive, and very successful man. The perfect catch. She knew he'd been married twice before, but it hadn't bothered her. Now she had begun to realise why he was on his 3rd marriage. Everything had been fine for a while, but she'd come to realise lately why his previous marriages had failed. Roger had an eye for the ladies, in particular the younger ones. It seemed this last month Kim had noticed it more an more; he seemed to have stopped caring that his wife may see him checking out other women, and even flirted openly with them when he thought she wasn't looking. The perfect catch? Yeah, right. Kim knew it had been too good to be true. She already suspected he might be cheating on her with his secretary.

Kim shook her head as she opened the front door, trying to rid herself of these thoughts. She could be imagining all this. Something told her she wasn't, but she had to give him the benefit of the doubt, she told herself. She strode into the hall trying to remember where Roger had said he'd left his notes. She searched his office downstairs with no luck, before remembering Roger had said they were in his bedside table. Kim got to the door to their bedroom when she heard noises coming from down the hall.

Kim panicked and froze. She listened. The noises were moans and groans; it sounded like someone having sex! Who the hell was having sex in her house! As the initial panic subsided she began to think clearly. It was then she realised who must be in the room...
