Those are the only signs to warn one of the Salesman's presence. Though if he happens to stroll by, perhaps there's a reason... spend a minute and see what he has to offer. The worst one can do is refuse to purchase.
The Salesman isn't one to help or actively hinder. He is simply present to make ends meet. You provide payment. He provides assistance in the form of whatever's on the market.
