The Bleeding Rose Bordello

The Bleeding Rose Bordello

You don't pay them money, they pay you blood...

Chapter 1 by Man behind door Man behind door

To call 'The Bleeding Rose' a Bordello was frankly a little misleading. while it was certainly a place for clients to...indulge certain apetites, the ladies within didn't charge for their services, and in fact faced stiff competition for the right to peddle themselves within it's lavishly decorated walls.

They're known as 'Blood-subs' within their quickly growing subculture; individuals addicted to the sensual pain and overwhelming stimulation of being fed upon by vampires. It was especially popular among women, having grown up knowing the age-old cliche of the seductive, predatorial vampiric aristocrat creeping into their rooms at night, slipping down their satin nightgowns to expose the throbbing veins in their slender necks...

Obviously, in the real world, vampires and 'victims' alike have to take more practical measures to get their fix. Chatrooms, forums and dating sites are common places for the two to meet, occasionally with one individual paying the other for their involvement, but it came with a myriad of concerns and issues.

The most alarming was those concerning health and safety, the unavoidable dangers that come with the unsupervised transfer of large amounts of untested blood from one stranger to another. It wasn't an uncommon occurrence, for someone with a particularly greedy vampire, or undiagnosed low blood pressure, to be rushed to hospital looking even paler than their lover, who also may very well be infected with god knows what their sub might have without knowing about, or simply chose not to declare.

And in all frankness, some don't want to turn their pet bite whore or blood-thirsty master into a domesticated partner; they wanted to gratify their capricious, dated fantasies entirely, without compromise.

The gap in the market attracted various ambitious ventures to capitalize on it, the most successful of which being the conceiving of establishments, such as 'The Bleeding Rose', where vampires and their...fans could regular meet in respectable, comfortable and sufficiently indulgent amenities, safe in the knowedge that all involved have been vetted, and that security and medical experts are close on hand, all for a reasonably priced subscription.
