Summer of a Lifetime

You are Sam West, an 18 year old, fresh out of high school and on your way to Harvard. You never went to a high school party for as long as you were there, but on the last day, you thought to yourself “Fuck it. Why not?” and grew the balls to go out to the hottest girl in school’s party. After all, she did say everyone was invited.

When you turn the corner onto her street, you hear the loud pulsing of techno music playing. The closer you get the louder it becomes until you finally reach the house. You walk up to the door and knock three times, then you think to yourself “Of course they wouldn’t open the door you fucking idiot, you can barely hear yourself think and you’re outside.” So you walk in.

The moment you walk in a beer flys across the room and smacks you in the face, “Oh fuck are you alright man?” Says someone you can’t make out. “I think my nose is broken” you say. The girl replies “fuck, okay come with me” and grabs you by the arm, pulling you into the kitchen.

You have a small nosebleed from the beer but after the girl tends to your wounds, you’re able to make out who it is. It just so happens to be the girl hosting the party, Gwen Young. You hide your face from her so maybe she won’t recognize who you are.

“Hey do you think you’re going to be alright?” she asks. You, still hiding your face, say sarcastically “Oh yeah I’m doing fine.” She apologizes and then grabs your arm again, this time pulling you up some stairs and into a room. “Hold on I’ll be right back.” She says, leaving you in the room.

You wait a bit, then the music stops. You hear Gwen shouting at some guys saying things like “Why do you have to be so fucking stupid?!?” and “Get the fuck out!”

You hear someone marching up the stairs and the music comes back on and the door opens.
