Succubus’ tales

“ARIA! HURRY UP! The breach is about to close!” A loud voice broke through the uncanny silence that now reigned over the lifeless terrain. Scorched red ground dominated the scenery, stretching as far as the eye could see. There wasn’t much else to admire in this section of hell, unless one counted the massive crack in reality hovering above the ground.

“ARIA!?” Another shout. This one way more than the previous one.

Aria had to stifle a groan as she finally deactivated the spell making her invisible. She had planned to sneak through without her knowing, but alas, she couldn’t bring herself to do that to this klutzy companion of hers.

“Yeah, yeah. I am here, Lily. I’ll catch up with you on the other side eventually.” Her friend didn’t even have time to fully register her presence before she was hurled through the dimensional rift like a rag doll, letting out an indignant squeal.

Huh, Lust Succubi were surprisingly light. She had barely pushed her.

Aria chose not to dwell on it. She looked herself over one last time to make sure nothing was missing.

Nope. She still wore her revealing leather armor, which hugged both her ample chest and rear. Her steel sword was sheathed at her hip, and a precious gold ring adorned the base of her black succubus tail. Certainly non-standard, but it would suffice. She was more than strong enough to get anything she wanted in the overworld, after all.

Hummmm…

The crack rapidly shrank. It was an otherworldly expression of impatience, or at least it seemed that way to Aria, who was admittedly nervous despite her facade of nonchalance.

She took a deep breath and cast away the growing doubts in her mind. The rest of the succubi had already gone through. She and Lily were the last ones to leave. What was she standing around for? This was expected from every succubus, it wasn’t anything to worry about.

This approach appeared to work.

Not feeling like she had any more time to waste, Aria dove into the ‘portal’ just before it disappeared, leaving no trace of its existence behind.
