Thank you for beginning Shadow. While this story will include sex scenes, they won't be the focus of this story. If you're looking for a story that dives straight into the sexy stuff, Shadow isn't the right choice. Don't worry, I'm not offended if you are looking for something else. For anyone who's interested in the tale of a sarcastic, sometimes jaded, woman getting herself in over her head, I hope that you enjoy the story.

Additionally, this story is meant to be experienced in "game mode," as it uses a number of variables to keep track of your actions. If you don't read it that way, all variables will be treated as default, which is probably less interesting.
