The darkness fades as my eyes opened to the bright sun shining down. I tried my best to recollect how I found myself outside in a place I don’t recognize as well. I went to sleep after a long game session and now I’m outside how could this have happened?
Looking around I saw very few trees. However there was plenty of dirt and dust. It looked as though I was in some kinda desert. Upon further inspection I noticed there was a partly dried up pond near me. Feeling parched I figured it would be worth a shot. Besides it wouldn’t be the worse think I’ve drunk.
As I made my way over to the spring my mind wandered. Why was I so calm? I’m in the middle of nowhere with no recollection as to how I got here. However as I got closer and closer to the drying pond my thirst took over. I soon found myself guzzling down as much dusty pond water as I could.
Then as the ripples cleared from my sloshing I saw it. A man looking back at me from the water. Except this was not my normal reflection before me was the reflection of a pointed ear elf man who shared very similar features to me. Bringing my hand up to my face I touch it as does the reflection in the pond.
Things finally started to dawn on me. This reflection was indeed me. However it was more like my video game character and if I had this right...I swipe my hand in a downward motion and suddenly a menu appears. The only issue is that it showed my level as level 1 “I was sure I had this character maxed out!” I yelled out loud.
Scrolling over once more to the stats menu my eyes lit up. Though it said I was level 1 I found all my stats to be maxed out. Then I scrolled again and found my inventory. My eyes were amazed all the rare items I had accumulated were right there before me. No longer pixilated specks, but now instead full 3D items. I was speechless.
“I don’t really know what happened but I definitely wanna test some of my abilities and items. As well as maybe do some quests. But for now off to find a city.”
