Detour at a Strange Hole in The Wall Bar

Wandering down a pathway that led towards what I hoped to be a city I came across what looked to be an entrance to a cave. However, there was writings on the wall and arrows pointing into the cave. The writing said things like ‘Fun Ahead’ and ‘Don’t forget to tip’. Deciding I was strong enough I gave it a shot.

Entering the cave I found that it was thoroughly lit with torches and eventually I came up to a building that had been built into the cave. It had a small sign hanging that read ‘Tavern’ just as a precaution I looked into my loot menu and equipped my charm necklace. It would allow me to talk my way out of any situation. I then entered the tavern.

To my amazement when I looked around the tavern it was filled with many guests. Though a majority appeared to be dwarfs. The nice part was that there were many female attendants here including a busty barmaid who looked to be human.

The one thing I failed to notice was everyone was looking at me like I was out of place. Many of the dwarfs began to look very angry. Then I remembered in my game the dwarfs had just recently called a truce from a war between them and the elves. My charm necklace only activates when I am speaking to someone so I quickly come up with a solution.

“I’M NOT HERE TO FIGHT ANYONE CONTINUE YOUR BUSINESS!” I shouted loud enough that everyone would hear me the men just all turned and returned to what they were doing.

The women however continued to stair at me. I wondered if my item perhaps didn’t effect women. Then I remembered the description function from the game. I opened the inventory tab going to the charm necklace and held my finger over it.

Greater Charm Necklace - (An Item used to often stop a battle or earn a better price at a market place. Has a greater effect on women.)

The items description was very vague but it did confirm to me that it worked on women. I walked up to the busty barmaid who kept her eyes away from mine. This didn’t stop me from speaking up. “I would like a cup of the finest ale you have.” I said smiling, and summoning up a gold coin from my sizeable coin pouch.

The barmaid blushed a bit and said, “Cc...Coming right up and you...you can keep the coin. Thi...this one’s on the uhhh...the house yeah that’s it.” Her face grew more red the more she seemed to stumble over her words.

I wondered what had her so flustered and why she would give a guy that just came in the bar a free drink. She was completely charmed heck I could probably bed her if I just asked. However where would be the fun in that?
