Rough Wake Up

You wake up in a haze, rubbing the sleep from your eyes as you sit up. Only for you to stop short as your head hits something. You look up to see a black wire mesh above you. Looking around, it’s on all sides. Are you in a dog crate? The fluffy pad under you, a dog bed. What is going on?

You see the latch on the outside. Reaching your fingers through the grating, you fumble trying to push it open but it won’t budge. Is it stuck? You push harder and harder, but it won’t move. You grab the whole cage rattling it, trying to your way out, but everything stays in place.

You give up resting against the surprisingly sturdy wall of the cage. When you feel the metallic touch of the wires on the back, you finally realize that not only are you in a dog crate, you’re also completely nude. Or rather nearly nude, you feel something around your neck. You can’t actually see it but by feel and the fact that you’re in a dog crate, it seems like a safe bet that it’s a collar.

Your heart is racing. Terrified by the situation. You brush your fingers through your hair, only to realize it’s been cut. Which leads to a closer inspection of your body, and the discovery that all of your body hair is missing.

How did you get here? You try to remember the night before, but nothing comes to mind. What day is it? Was it the weekend, a week day? Thinking back further, your memories of your life in general are intact. Yet, the events leading you here seem to be missing.

A noise comes from the other room. “Hello?” you call out, “Help!”
