When Forgetting to take your meds gets a lot more serious

Kendra is an 18 year old high school senior. She is an attractive and reasonably well endowed young lady. She seems pretty normal, but Kendra has a secret, a secret she learned on her 18th birthday: she can transform into something not quite human.
Fortunately, she is able to blend in with society because she can do something to control her transformation, to prevent herself from accidently transforming when it might expose her secret to the world. (Examples: takes a potion, performs a certain act or ritual, transforms herself voluntarily for a certain amount of time)
Unfortunately for Kendra, this morning she overslept and was in a hurry so she didn't do what she normally does. And now it's midway through the day at school...

The alarm blared, as it had been doing for the past twenty minutes.
Kendra's eyes flashed open, her hair a mess in front of her eyes and her bed sheets sprawled around her naked body. Late, she was late.
Kendra practically flew out of her bed, checking her phone and seeing the time reading 6:45, she'd barely have time to get dressed if she was gonna catch her bus. Angrily, she threw the phone on the bed and got to work.
She hurried to her dresser, pulling on a pair of panties and fastening a bra around her abdomen before turning it around and flipping the cups over her boobs, sliding her arms into the straps. She watched the clock with a panicked expression and ran to her closet, grabbing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, pulling them on hastily then grabbing socks shoes. Grabbing her purse and school bag, she nearly forgot her phone as she ran downstairs.
Kendra hastily tied her hair back in a messy ponytail as she blasted through the kitchen and grabbed a poptart, racing out the door and down to the bus stop.
She was just in time, sighing in relief as she climbed on and got to her seat, leaning against the window she sighed, then realization hit her like a ton of bricks. She remembered what she'd forgot.
