She's a Mermaid

Kendra shifted uncomfortably in her fifth-period science class. It wasn’t that she didn’t like the class, in all honesty she loved her Zoobot class. No, what was bugging Kendra was something even her fascinating teacher would never believe.

Her legs were itching a up a storm, they had been all morning, but now it was getting unbearable. Ever since she’d missed her alarm and skipped her morning bath, she knew this was coming.

It had all started a few months back, on Kendra’s 18th birthday. She had felt this same itch after the party, at the time, she’d taken a bath to try and wash off whatever was causing the itch. That was when, spontaneously, her lower half turned into a fish.

It was impossible to believe, what had happened? What had changed? She had been able to change back, but everyday since, she’d had to turn back into a mermaid once a day, or it would happen without her control. In all that time, she’d found no clue or reason as to why she was suddenly like this. All she knew was no one could know.

Kendra had taken up a routine of taking a bath every morning where she could spend a bit of time in her scaled form, but today, she’d forgotten, and now it was coming to bite her in the ass.

Kendra looked nervously to the clock, how much longer was this class? Thirty minutes? If she could just make it to lunch break she could slink off to the gym lockers and spend a bit of time with her tail in the showers.

As the itching increased however, Kendra grew more and more worried that she wouldn’t make it. She scratched and scratched her leg, then in her horror, she scratched off a purple fish scale, holding it in her hand in terror, she looked up at the professor.

“I have to go to the bathroom!” She cried. The teacher was a bit shocked, but dismissed her. Kendra stood up and left the class, already her legs were starting to feel like Jelly, she was running out of time. She had to get somewhere she could transform without being bothered.
