House Rules

It was Friday night and again Steve was stuck at home. Another night alone in college. He heard the front door opening, followed by the laughter of his 3 roommates, who happened to be all female. They just came back from some kind of show. They called it a girls night out, but in reality they simply looked for an excuse not to invite him. They all moved in more or less at them same time and while the women got along well together right from the start, Steve was kinda left behind as the oddball that he was. They kept giggling and talking about how much they enjoyed their evening. Just the usual deal. Then very unexpectedly he heard a knock on his door. When he opened the door there was Franzi, a brunette german exchange student, handing him a sealed letter.

F: "We just got back from our show and we were told to give this to you" she just said and left.

Completely confused Steve closed the door and sat back down in front of his computer. The envelope was completely blank. For a moment he asked himself if it truly was meant for him. In the end he just opened and read it.

“Hi there Steve,

I just had a nice talk with your roommates about you. If what they told me is true you kinda share the same fate as I did when I was in college. As a man who walked through a dry desert himself I kinda sympathize, so I decided to make you a small gift. A quite big one actually. Your three roommates, whom you will get to know a lot better, involuntarily volunteered for my performance. After I had my fun with them on stage I decided to let you have some fun with them as well. The rules are rather simple...”
