Hotel Arcadia

You're lost. You don't want to admit it to yourself but it is true. Wherever you are is nothing but darkness and trees, the only light coming from your headlights. You haven't seen another car in you don't know how long which is good because there is no way two cars could fit on this road. You want to turn around but there is no room between the drop to your left and the cliff to your right to do so and, even were you able to, you're not at all certain you'd be able to detect the correct turn off in the dark since they all look the same.

You look down at your dashboard clock and see that it is a few minutes past midnight. "Next flat piece of ground large enough for the car" you say to yourself "I'll turn off and wait till morning. It'll be easier to find my way back in the daylight."

Just then your headlights hit a sign and you brake to read it. "HOTEL ARCADIA" it reads "Enjoy your stay" with an arrow pointing to a road up the hill and a 'Vacancy' sign tacked to it. "It's got to be better than sleeping in the car" you say to yourself and turn up the road.

A few minutes later you see light through the trees and moments later the trees part to reveal a well kept property with a palatial house in its centre, of old world design and newly built. You drive up to the front door around a fountain, all nymphs and satyrs, set in the middle of the driveway. As you park a bellboy, complete with uniform, walks out the double doors at the front and down to your car.
