Hermaphroditic Dragons and Parasitic Pregnancy

[Note: While will be discussed a bit, this is not a or authoritarian story. Rather, this is a story about pregnancy and forbidden romance of the interracial, incestuous, and attraction-to-a-freak varieties. Also, since all the characters in this story are hermaphrodites this doesn't really fit into any standard het/gay/lez category, but you can pick whether you want the dragons to be referred to by male or female pronouns. And finally be warned that this story is barely started and won't be finished any time soon. On the world of Down there were no humans. There had never been any humans, and no one had even heard of those strange ape-like creatures who were unnaturally fragmented into two sexes. Instead Down was the home of two species of bipedal sentient dragons. Both species were hermaphroditic, as were all the animals in the group they had evolved from. Both species of dragons had scaled skin and feathered crests, wings, and tail tips, something like a humanoid archaeopteryx.

As hermaphrodites, dragons of both races had wombs, vaginas, and penises; they were always capable of fertilizing another dragon, but were only capable of becoming pregnant during the three days of their monthly heat cycle. When in heat, all dragons became more sensitive to scent, and of course incredibly horny; they could practice natural birth control by restricting themselves to only 'topping' while they were in heat. But there the similarities ended.
