Hall of Heroines

Hall of Heroines

A game idea.

Chapter 1 by JimJoeBob JimJoeBob

In this game you would play as the guildmaster for this region's hero's guild and have full control of your guild and its heroes. All of the heroes under your employ are women of varying backgrounds and classes. You assign the heroes their quests based on their skill sets and send them off for days to weeks at a time where they travel and try to complete quests. If a village is under attack you would send a fighter and if a town had a plague you would send the healer. If a place is cursed you would send someone with magical knowledge and if you were hired to steal something you would send a proper thief.

But what if you didn't? What if you send a fighter to steal, have the thief resolve the curse, and make the healer fight the group of monsters? Chaos insure and the poorly equipped heroes cannot do their job, leading to capture and "" after their inevitable defeat. If they get to walk away they come back home in shame and have to tell you all about how they failed. This is where you must decide when to have your heroines fail or succeed as you'll want to fill your gallery, but the game ends if the guild fails to make any money.

If this game were to be made it would be somewhat like a Akabur trainer game mixed with more management gameplay as you have to build up your guild and train your heroines. I was inspired with this idea after replaying the original Fable game and thought it would be fun and different to do something like this. As I thought about it, I decided to add more D&D elements and thought it would be easier to have all the characters called by their classes rather than give them names or simple hero titles. This also comes from else where, somewhat from Fable (Guildmaster) and Dragon's Crown, at least in the manga.
