Good karma.

Some times good deeds are rewarded.

Chapter 1 by gps19767 gps19767

You're driving around the town you live in on the central Florida gulf coast as you're completing some errands you have to do, buying groceries Etc., but you really don't have to be any where at any particular time so you're not in any rush.

You come to an intersection where the light is green, however you are in the right turn lane. The cars in front of you make the turn until you are the second one back and the last in line, at this point you see an old lady on a bicycle coming across the street in the cross walk. The car in front of you does stop for her as she crosses in front of it but as soon as it's driver feels that she's clear they gun the engine and take off. A half second more and they would have been correct, as it is you watch with horror as the front of the car clips the rear wheel of the bicycle sending the woman sprawling to the ground on top of her bike. you also see that the car itself doesn't stop but keeps on going.

Hitting your caution flashers you quickly unbuckle yourself and dash over to where the woman is on the ground.

"please don't be hurt to bad." you will her thinking to yourself, though you don't know how she couldn't be, as you get to her.

"Are you okay?" you ask the woman who's still unmoving on the ground. suddenly you're fearing the worst when you hear a groan from her.

To your relief you see her move, slightly at first then she begins to try to get up.

"Whoa, whoa take it slow." you caution her as you reach out to try to help her. "You probably shouldn't move after being hit like that." with that she moves into a sitting position on the ground beside her now wrecked bike, the rear wheel is bent as is the frame.

"Thank you stranger, but I think I'll be fine now." she says as you quickly look her over for injuries you're stunned, she literally doesn't seem to have a scratch on her. Which is impossible you think given the severity of her fall.

"Now then stranger, Might I know who you are?" she asks squinting up at you, using her hand to shield her eyes from the sun's glare.

Yes, who are you?
