Enchantment spell

Want to give a large amount of credit and inspiration to MisterMan1965 and his story “Strange Magic.” It’s an amazing read if you haven’t already and my story is a homage and tribute to his original story.

You wander into your school library, hoping to find a good book for a project. You come across a book at your schools library about spells and other magical powers. (What the hell is this? I can assume some Harry Potter fan shoved this in here probably to fuck with someone that is feeling and lonely…I mean I’m lonely and I’m pretty at this point.) You begin to read it a bit and discover that there are enchantment spells to get someone to notice you. It also seems like it was not an actual library book since it didn’t have a checkout card. You decide there is no harm in trying it out since you are tired of being alone. You quickly shove it in your backpack as you are not wanting to carry it on your person. You return to your search quickly and find a book for your assignment with relative ease. You check out with the librarian and quickly make your way home to look at the process of the enchantment.

You pull out the book as you are safely in your room without any judging eyes prying on you. You skim through it until you find the section on enchanting the person you desire. You skim through it and it seems simple enough without do anything to crazy. Essentially it seems the book imprints your image into the head of the person even for people that have never met you to create the “love at first sight” moment. If it is someone you have met it makes them look at you in a different light almost like taking off sunglasses and getting a whole new perspective on you as a person. (This really sounds like a lot of bullshit but I am willing to try anything that could get me a girlfriend. Fuck it! I could even try for someone that is seemingly impossible.) You begin to think of that special someone that you plan on inserting yourself into their life.
