Dear diary

Dear diary,

Today is the 12th of July 2020. This is my first every diary entry, so there will be a lot to cover, but I have woken up very early today and I have always wanted to start a diary. I might not be able to update it everyday, as we've all been very busy recently, but I will write a new entry whenever I can. Two months ago we moved house, out from New York to Montana, so we've had to do a lot of moving, cleaning, and redecorating to get the new house ready for Daddy. Mommy, Nikki, Ava and I flew out to the new house to get it ready about five months ago. The new house is huge, and we had to do a load of gardening, clean all over, move all the new stuff in and set it up the way Daddy likes it.

I should say 'Mommy' is Daddy's wife (who's real name is Jasmine), Nikki and Ava are my younger sisters, and I of course am Chloe. I'll put in some pictures so when I read it back when I'm older I'll be able to see what we all looked like at the time.

Anyway, the reason we're moving house is Daddy's sold his company. It's something called a 'fund', and I know it's to do with money and stuff like that, but Daddy says it makes no sense for me to learn about it, which makes sense since learning is for boys. He's sold it for a lot of money, and now we're moving to a big estate in Montana where he can focus on relaxing, and we can help him 24/7. It's nice and isolated which is amazing, because in New York Daddy says we have to be secretive about how we help him, but here there's no one around to see or interfere. Daddy says at some point he also wants to start growing the family more, which we can do all day now he doesn't have to work.

As a daughter, it's my job to obey my father and help in whatever way he wants, in the same way Mommy's have to do what their husbands say. I love doing this: I don't need to worry about books and learning, since that's all for boys and girl's aren't good at that stuff. I get to clean, to cook, and to please Daddy. The last one is particularly important, and Mommy taught us how to do that best when we grew up.

Mommy has given me some great tips:

• There is almost nothing Daddy can ask you to do, or say, to which the response isn't 'Yes Daddy' or 'Thank you Daddy'
• If something is painful, boring or humiliating, you can get through it by just thinking about the fact you're making Daddy happy: seeing him happy should make you happy as it means you're doing your job right
• At any given time, think 'am I Daddy's favourite?', and then think what you can do to become, or stay, Daddy's favourite
• If ever stuck or confused, think back to your lessons

The three of us have always been home-schooled, since Daddy says 'feminism' has infected the school system. Daddy taught that a feminist is a woman that doesn't know her place in society, and isn't good enough to please or attract a man. Our lessons teach us about that sort of thing: the role of daughters and wives in society, how women should treat men and essential knowledge for girls like how to dress appropriately, cook, clean and please.

Daddy arrived at the new house yesterday evening and was very tired, so went straight to bed without picking a night time helper. He said this morning he wants us to come into his room at 9.00 so he can talk to the four of us. It's nearly time to get ready, so I'm going to pick out my outfit, shower, shave, and then see if Mommy needs any help with breakfast. I've been working on my outfits so Daddy will pick me to help him more; I planned out lots in advance whilst Daddy was in New York. It's been a lot of fun writing this entry, I hope I have time to keep writing.
