College Leadership Retreat

As the two vans pulled up to the cabin retreat, Alex slightly nudged his girlfriend Makayla, who had fallen asleep on his shoulder. Pushing her long brunette hair back she turned and took in the sight of the two cabins, and the surrounding forest, before turning back to her boyfriend and smiling.

As everyone filed out of the vans, the student government president, Bianca, a stunning blonde with her hair pulled back in a ponytail, pulled out a clipboard and addressed the group.

"Okay, we'll have the men in the cabin on the left, women in the cabin on the right."

"How come the girls get the bigger cabin?" Erik, the arrogant head of the Student Activities Council, blurted out.

"Because I'm in charge and I say so," Bianca retorted, but with a grin. "We meet in the ladies' cabin in an hour."

"Dude, shut up," Brian, the Vice-President said to his friend Erik, heading toward the cabin.

"Guess you guys will be split up, so no fooling around for you," Gabriella, a tall brunette, with short hair remarkd as she walked in between the shorter couple.

"Gaby!?!" Makayla whined, clearly not happy with the comment.

"Don't worry, I'm sure there will be lots of time for hanky panky," Maxwell Ackerman, known to his friends as "Axe," joked as he walked by. His long brown hair, though, made him look more like a hippy than the rocker his nickname would imply.

Makayla gave Alex a look, but he just shrugged.

Dr. Pittman, the faculty advisor, helped his step-daughter Sayen, whose bronze skin was indicative of her half-native American heritage, unload her stuff. They were followed in by Gina, the young student life director, and staff advisor.

Still annoyed by the SG president's rebuke, Erik was the last to finally grab his bags. Of course, he had spent most of that time eyeing up the women, knowing he was going to score with at least one of them. Maybe I'll finally stick it to that snob Bianca, he thought
