Alien Invasion

A conquest

Chapter 1 by Rijako Rijako

In the inky expanse of space, a lone meteor hurtles past stars, planets, and asteroids, its path leading it on a collision course for earth. Inside this piece of rock and dust, a small bioorganic canister contains an extraterrestrial payload; a lone example of an alien species, sent from a dying planet towards the closest possible colonization planet: in this case, Earth. This organism has objectives imprinted into its very being, with its objective being the conquest of whatever dominant species or specie that inhabit the blue orb that the meteor will land on.

The chaotic scene on your old planet still lingers in the parts of your body that keep that sort of thing; the rapid devolution of its orbit destroying the traditional seasons, rising temperatures, a crumbling biosphere, and panicked lifeforms. Somehow you escaped that nightmare, though you don't exactly remember how that happened. Now though, the only concern was making sure you didn't die on impact, and that you were successful in your mission to continue your species, no matter the cost to anyone or anything else.

With time to spare, you think about what you are. What species are you - more insectine, or more mammalian. How will you go about ensuring your survival on this new planet? Are you a parasitic species, or one that revels in conquest? Do you change your hosts, or are you the kind of alien invader that lives inside the local fauna, spreading silently with minimal exposure?

Some relative guidelines:

  1. Try to be the kind of alien that invades and possesses; this is a mind control story afterall. Whether you are a blob that takes forms like the Thing, or a xenomorph that captures and impregnates, or a body-snatching species that replaces or infests their hosts, you're here to invade Earth, and take control.
  2. You're just one organism at the start, with practically no resources. Take it slow, at least for a little while. Dont be afraid to have some setbacks on your way to taking control of the planet!
  3. Have fun with it! Make your alien species, or use a famous example from media, and go wild! I just ask that people don't add-on to the storyline I have planned, featuring Allison McMillian. If you do want to add-on or branch off, I'd be happy with that.

I hope you enjoy my writings, and I hope you add yours!!

(I will probably only work on the one branch, but I'm going to put up a couple different Alien specie to help encourage others to contribute!)

What kind of Alien are you?
