A Fucking Isekai

Authors note- Hello I am the writer of this story. This is my first attempt at writing a story on here. Expect it to be isekai trash and maybe be pleasantly surprised. If you have any constructive criticism I wouldn’t mind it but don’t just tell it is shit since I am mainly making it for myself. I admit that I have partially based the character off of myself but also made some things different. I have kept the intro relatively short and tried not to be too specific so that other writers can do what they want in the future. I will probably allow other authors later but for now I am keeping it private. If you want to write here send me a message and we will talk.

“Pick a class” he heard from what seemed like every direction. He tried to open his eyes and look around but couldn’t see anything but darkness. Was he dead? He tried to remember his past to find out.

John Wall is his name, and overall he had a mediocre life. He was neither poor nor rich, his family was neither terrible or amazing, he didn’t go to college but managed to get a decent job. However he never had much luck with the ladies. Although the night before... he remembered going to bed after work and then... this happened. Well best to ask this voice some questions.

“Where am I?” He asked... silence. “Who are you?” ... more silence. “What classes can I pick?” A video game like window popped up in front of him with a long list of classes. He saw things like soldier, fighter, swordsman, mage, fire mage, Paladin, cleric, etc. Isn’t soldier, fighter and swordsman basically the same thing? Well he probably wouldn’t be able to find out the difference with out trying them. There were things as generic as “yes” to things as specific as “Hunter of Oliver Lanturgel”. Most of them seemed to be combat based or have potential for combat except for a few like “Farmer” or “Weaver”. He started to wonder if the classes maybe have a description to them well time to find out. He heard a “Click” sound when pressed the button.
