"The Adventurer"

...and the quest they never asked to be a part of but is to join.

I laid in bed listening to the sound of the damn rain meaning the party tonight was canceled. Not surprising considering how my luck was going. Okay maybe it wasn't that bad but getting dumped right after finals sucked ass. Not my fault I wanted to take some time to myself and actually focus on passing. On the plus side I would be one step closer to becoming a senior next year with fewer distractions. On the down side my plans for spring break were one of those fewer distractions I no longer had to worry about.

I shook my head as I heard the ruckus down stairs. The geeks down stairs playing there game. Banshees and Brothels or some such nonsense. I had never gotten into that kind of stuff. It looked like fun when they played it but it wasn't my thing. Not that I could say my thing was any more mature considering some of the trouble I had gotten into at college. How I had managed to pass my last three years was beyond me.

I sighed deciding to head down and raid the fridge. The folks were out of two for a week which meant we had the house to ourselves. It also meant we had to fend for ourselves so we were on our own for food. I wasn't going out in this crap so it was either raid the fridge or order something and ask some poor sap to make a delivery. I got up and stretched catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror.

This will be a bit of a comedy at best and should not be taken seriously and I will not be committing a lot of time to this story at the moment as it is merely a brake from my typical fair to get the creative juices flowing but I may dedicate more time later if there is enough interest in the story. I will be leaving this open for others to create there own characters and stories. I apologize for my grammar in places. I am in no way paid for any of this so it is purely a part time hobby at best and I treat it as such and write for myself in my free time and like to share it so others may enjoy if they like.
