But spells can go wrong in countless ways by uttering one wrong word, moving a wand too soon, trying to substitute a potion ingredient. Those victims are studied in the 'Magical Misfire' ward, and their effects range from silly to serious. As much as the doctors try to inspire hope in everyone in this ward, there is always the chance that some of these patients may never revert to how they once were.
