Whom do we follow now?
Sailor Guardians
The Awakening of Darkness – The Last Sun
The inner city of Neo-Tokyo lay bathed in the golden light of the setting sun. The crystal towers cast long, sparkling shadows across the streets, and the air carried the scent of warm asphalt, street food, and the sweet fragrance of flowers still blooming in the parks. It was a deceptively peaceful evening—except for the faint, ominous hum that only the Sailor Senshi could sense: a dark energy creeping through the city like an invisible fog.
Usagi—Sailor Moon—stood with the others at the large intersection near the Crystal Palace. Her silver hair fluttered lightly in the wind, her face serious, eyes filled with worry. Beside her was Chibiusa, who had come along despite being forbidden—“I’m not staying behind alone, Mama!”—her hands tightly clutching her small pink crystal. The Inner Senshi—Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako—stood in a loose semicircle around them, already transformed into their Senshi forms, their uniforms shimmering in the evening light. Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru had already split off—each heading in a different direction to investigate alone.
“We meet back here in one hour,” Usagi said quietly but firmly. “If anything happens—no matter what—signal immediately. No solo heroics.”
Rei nodded grimly. “I can feel it already. This energy… it’s everywhere. Like a heartbeat beneath the city.”
Ami checked her mini-computer one last time. “The reports are piling up. More and more people are disappearing. And the dreams… they match perfectly with what we’re feeling.”
Makoto clenched her fists. “Then let’s get moving. The longer we wait, the more we lose.”
Minako tried a weak smile. “Come on, girls. We’re the Sailor Senshi. We’ve faced worse.”
Usagi nodded. “Right. The Inners stay together. We head straight to the party district. And… be careful.”
The groups separated. Haruka and Michiru disappeared to the west, Setsuna and Hotaru to the east. Usagi led her group—Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, and Chibiusa—south toward the pulsing heart of Neo-Tokyo’s nightlife.
The sun was already very low. Its last rays bathed the high-rises in blood-red light that reflected off the windows like fire. The streets were still lively—people laughing, music spilling from bars, neon signs flickering to life. But the closer they got to the party district, the stronger the uneasy feeling grew. The air suddenly smelled different—metallic, sweet, like something… forbidden.
“Do you feel that too?” Chibiusa whispered.
Usagi nodded. “Yes. It’s… close.”
They turned the final corner—and froze.
Before them lay Eclipse. The club where it had all begun. The heavy metal doors still stood closed, but the building seemed to breathe. Dark energy pulsed from it like an invisible heartbeat.
The sun touched the horizon. Its final rays slid across the facade—and in that exact moment, the doors burst open with a deafening crash.
A figure stepped out.
A half-naked, pale woman with long, raven-black hair. Lilithara. She wore only shreds of her former black silk dress, clinging to her perfect, sensual body like shadows. Her red eyes glowed like burning coals, her smile wicked, hungry, triumphant. She spread her arms as if to embrace the entire city.
Only seconds later, darkness exploded from inside the club.
Pale figures poured out—dozens, hundreds. Vampires. Their eyes glowed red, their bodies half-naked, blood-smeared, aroused. They moved with inhuman speed, descending on the first passersby who still stood clueless on the street.
The chaos began.
A young woman screamed as a vampire seized her and bit into her neck. Her scream turned to a moan, her clothing torn, her skin paling. A couple tried to flee—but two vampires cut them off, dragged them to the ground, and fucked them immediately while biting. Screams turned to sounds of pleasure. People ran in panic—tripping, falling, being caught. Everywhere the same scene: bites, blood, sex, transformation.
Usagi stared in horror at the scene. “No… no, this can’t be…”
Rei clenched her fists. “That’s it. The source. That’s the darkness we sensed.”
Makoto growled. “We have to stop them. Right now.”
Ami scanned the crowd with her computer. “There are too many. Hundreds. And they’re multiplying… exponentially.”
Minako drew her Love-Me Chain. “Then let’s start. Sailor Moon—your order.”
Usagi nodded slowly. Her eyes filled with determination—and a hint of fear.
“Sailor Senshi… transform fully. We intervene. Now.”
Chibiusa grabbed her hand. “Mama… I’ll help too.”
Usagi squeezed her fingers tightly. “Stay close to me.”
The sun sank completely. Night fell.
And the party district of Neo-Tokyo became a battlefield—and the birthplace of a new horde.
Lilithara still stood in the open doorway, naked, majestic, and smiling.
“Come,” she whispered into the darkness. “Come to me, my daughters…”
The Sailor Senshi charged forward.
The night had begun.
And it would change everything.
What's next?
